Goddess Garden Organics Baby SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen, Lotion, 3.4 oz.

Was excited about getting a sunscreen without all the crap in it that the high street brands contain and really want to love it. However, it's thick and white and actually quite difficult to spread. I made the mistake the first time of dabbing it in several areas but when I started to try to rub the blobs in, it had already started to dry a bit and was hard work - especially on sensitive areas like the face. Seems to protect from the sun in that child's skin was fine but then we didn't have her in the sun for any real length of time, so I do need to test it a bit more to be sure.

The ingredients are great so I do use this product it however does not feel good on the skin and takes a bit of work to rub it in. If you want a nice face cream this isn’t it. The attitude suncream equivalent is better for a natural alternative.

Medium thickness that protected my toddler in our vacations. Needs to reapply after 30-40 minutes, like most of the good sunscreens. Totally recommending it!

Thick consistancy but effective & lovely quality/feel

Firstly I want to say they're advertising the sunscreen with the old formula on here, they changed it this year to the following ingredients:-" non-nano Zinc Dioxide 19.0%Aloe barbadensis leaf juice*, caprylhydroxamix acid, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil*, glycerin, glyceryl caprylate, glyceryl stearate citrate, helianthus annus (sunflower) seed oil*, polyhydroxystearic acid, sorbitan oleate, tocopherol (vitamin E), xanthan gum*Certified Organic"The sunscreen itself has no smell which is really good, it's quite thick but feels soothing when you apply it on the skin and is slightly moisturising. The white cast isn't so bad, it's there but it doesn't stand out so much. There's no annoying flakiness or 'clumpiness' you can get with mineral physical sunscreens. However, it is a bit hard to blend so maybe applying a moisturiser (or facial oil or butter) beforehand would help with that. The only thing I really don't like is the stickiness, it stays there even after you apply it, but overall I'm happy with my purchase and will see how well this performs on a daily basis.I also want to add in that it does make you a bit shiny after a while but a simple powder on top can solve that.Update: it is quite difficult to wash off

If you are looking for a suncream that will leave you with a flawless look, not patchy or white... this is not for you. However... if you want to swim in the sea all day and still be protected at the end - this is for you. It's non nano. It's natural and reminds me of the old fashioned emulsion type stuff my mum and dad used on me 30 years ago! What's great is that there's no chemicals - great for you, the turtles and the fishes... and it's non nano so you don't make mutant plankton... we used this in Mexico with rash vests and didn't get burnt. I'm buying more - It's £25 a tube - Usually pay £3- so if that's not a testament to the product I don't know what is!
