Learn to Knit on Long Looms Paperback – 3 Jun. 2010

Maybe it is just me but these patterns do not seem to work on the recommended loom ie Knifty Knitter as the gauge is too wide. I tried to make the check blanket with Aran and long loom but it was just too loose. Anyone else tried and actually made something? I have now ordered a narrow gauge loom and will try that. Wish me luck. Knifty Knitters are only available second hand now mainly in US but looking at photo the gauge is same as the loom I am working on not narrow gauge. Just does not work out. V puzzling and disappointing.

Just started to make a scarf and it’s started looking ok

If like me you have never used a knitting loom before, it gives good how to do info. Bit disappointed that only straight knitting like scarves were given though as I'd like to have had some childrens knitted tops.

I love it , its so easy to use now that I have got into it a bit more. I was a bit confused at first because I thought the illustrations did not give each part of the process in full, I was a little disappointed that they only gave one way of casting on, I found another way of doing it in another book, so I worked by using two books, when I got more confident I found THE LEARNINGBook so much easier to follow

It's a fun book... In some of the projects the instructions are not as clearly explained. Otherwise 5 stars for sure.

I bought this to go with the loom, which I have now passed to a friend as it was to hard for a young child. It looked reasonably easy to follow, but I think you still need to watch some you tube instructions

Easy to read patterns, just right for beginners, could have a few more but oh well.

I Havnt done any of the projects yet but have read through the book and it looks great, cant wait to get started. shipping took a little longer than I thought it should but great book.
