Brilliant VFM
Been playing guitar for forty years and always had high end brands. Sure enough you get what you pay for at the top end but sometimes, just sometimes, you a get a great deal more bang for your buck lower down the food chain.JHS products used to be rubbish, let's face it, but this little guitar is a bargain. Plays beautifully, nice tone, great sustain, good hardware, being ultra-picky (and I mean ultra, ultra, picky) the finish isn't top drawer but it's a very nice looking guitar, feels great and plays very well.Punches way above it's weight and for the money is a real steal.

Really nice action from the box. Really well packed up and protected. I would really be surprised if it got damaged as over a 4 meters of bubble wrap and two boxes . Upon opening noticed that the action had been adjusted reasonably well but I will adjust with a professional I know later.I have paired it up with a Yamaha THR5 and its sounding good. Impression, a bit weighty when compared with my other guitar but that is an acoustic. Its a good quality guitar and would recommend

Would Recommend!
Had slight troubles with the guitar nut as the top E string was slipping and snapped but after using the lead of a pencil to file down the guitar nut slot for the top e and re- stringing the guitar it has performed well and I definitely would consider using this as my main guitar for a live performance rather than any of my other guitars. The flame top was darker than I expected with an almost burgundy colour but I prefer this and had been looking for a Les Paul with a dark shade to it compared to the brightness of my heritage cherry Epiphone or the Vintage AFD model I have.Found the guitar to be very playable with no dead frets or sharp edges on the fret markers. I would recommend Vintage V100 to other people who are looking for a guitar within this price range. Will be adding the Vintage Peter Green/Gary Moore distressed lemon drop to my collection once I can justify having 15 guitars. So far the only thing I have changed on this guitar is fitting guitar strap locks as this is a personal preference of mine but the original strap buttons were very solid and actually almost difficult to remove so there was no doubt they'd be fine in holding your guitar. If the guitar became damaged beyond repair (such as snapped neck/headstock) or was stolen I would definitely buy another one of the same model unless a flamed tobacco sunburst became available but it would be a tough choice between the two.

Quality Les Paul copy but prone to feedback.
As a genuine Les Paul is out of my price range I decided to try out the Vintage V100 Iced Tea and I'm so glad that I did. This is a quality copy of the legendary Les Paul that uses Wilkinson hardware.First impressions are that this is a fairly heavy guitar, which may not be to everybody's taste but I like the weight. The neck feels great. I have smallish hands but this feels very comfortable. I have tried a few Epiphones but prefer the neck on the Vintage. The frets ends are well finished with no sharp edges. The pickups are high output humbuckers. They seem well balanced output wise with the thick tone you would expect. I now also have a Wine red version that comes with mini humbuckers. These have a lower, slightly brighter output. Somewhere between a full humbucker and a single coil.Another issue I have noticed is that it suffers from feedback squeal. By the frequency of the feedback I'm guessing this is caused by unpotted pickups. I might wax dip the pickups but it will affect the tone so I'm not sure what to do. I love the tone of the Vintage so maybe I'll buy a second set of pickup and dip them to try out.Straight out of the box this does suffer with a little fret buzz, which is why I've marked it down slightly. Having said that it does seem that even pricier guitars need a setup from new.I also found that the plastic tuner buttons and plastic pickup selector knob aren't properly finished. The casting marks hadn't been removed, which could have easily been done in the factory. The plastic scratch plate also felt a bit cheap. This is a great shame as the rest of the guitar is beautifully finished.Overall this is a fantastic Les Paul copy that is very reasonably priced. It also comes in a wide variety of finishes. Recommended as long as you don't mind a bit of feedback.

Vintage V100 it
A very good Gibson copy really well made and sounds fantastic with the newly designed Wilkinson pickups. Set up was fine but I had it professionally set up for my own personal taste but it was good to go out of the box really.. Very pleased I chose this guitar over other similar copy guitars and it’s a keeper.
