MAGIC TOOLS - Grill & barbecue (BBQ) scissor tongs, lenght 515 mm

Got these as we had one given to us by my outlaws whom lived in spain for many years and these are extremely poplar there. This are good, but not as robust as the original one, however they are extremely helpful and much better than normal bbq tongs.

Excellent kit, long enough to keep clear of very hot fires but still light to hold and precise to use. I don't think they would be ideal for handling BBQ food on the grill as the pincers are quite small but I bought them for arranging coals on the fire, for which they are excellent.

These were recommended by some American BBQ website. They're really well-made but a bit unwieldy for handling food. I'm using them to move coals around in the BBQ.

Best tongs ever!

A good friend of mine is from South Africa and seeing his in action at our last BBQ it prompted me to look for one of these.It's ideal for big cuts of steak, coals, or whatever really.It's much easier to use and more precise than traditional tongs as you aren't working against sprung metal.The pincers are also designed to have some grip which helps a lot.I don't think this product is as good quality as my friends', but it's not bad for the price. I reckon that if anything is going to break, it's going to be the main pivotal rivet, which is not exactly a difficult fix.

A little bit flimsy, but they do the job. I will be using this for handling large bits of lumpwood charcoal into a smoker via an access hatch. I suppose you could handle food with it too - but I think it is unnecessary - rather use normal tongs.

This is the second pair of BBQ tools we have bought as we love them so much - saves you getting your hands burnt.
