I've been looking at standing crucifixes for quite a while, but found few that I was willing to spend the money on. For example, one commonly sold crucifix sells for around $85.00 and stands about 13.5" tall, but a considerable portion of the height is in a tall base, and the corpus only measures about 5.5 -6" tall. I kept looking and finally came across this crucifix on Amazon. The picture looked nice, but I was highly skeptical because of the price. Yet every reviewer had given it 5 stars, so I decided to take a chance. When the package arrived I was a bit nervous as I opened it, fearing it would be some cheap molded plastic crucifix, not unlike a child's toy dinosaur or action figure. However, I was thoroughly impressed when I opened the box and held this beautiful crucifix in my hands. The quality is outstanding, and the figure of Jesus is much more realistic than many crucifixes at 4 times the price. Look no further to find a beautiful, high quality crucifix!

This crucifix is simply beautiful. Really brings one's attention to the incredible sacrifice of the Lord. He gave up His own life so that we may experience forgiveness, love and Heaven (should we end up there!). He loved us even unto death! It might not look so in the pictures, but it is actually rather stable as long as you put it on a stable surface where it isn't going to easily be knocked down.
