Compacted MSF Signal Radio Controlled Brushed Aluminium Metal Cased Black Dial Non Ticking Sweeping Seconds Quartz Wall Clock

The media could not be loaded. I don't often get excited by a clock but I am by this one. It looks lovely in my living room with it's black face and brushed aluminium bezel. Setting up couldn't be easier, simply insert one AA battery and let the clock do the rest. It will locate the automatic signal and set the correct time for you all in a matter of minutes. For those asking about how quiet it is then I can assure you that the second hand is totally silent as it sweeps. The minute hand does tick every minute but it is really not noticeable, I'm being really picky here, if you stand right next to the clock you may hear it. I could easily have this in my bedroom it's that quiet. I'm tempted to get another for my kitchen now.

I bought this as a replacement for the same clock, because the original clock was damaged by workmen.Again a superb, good looking clock. Keeps excellent time and is silent, although I don’t mind if a clock has a gentle noise. The last one gave excellent service for several years and I’m sure this one will.Quality clock, it has a metal casing rather than the more common on cheap fake plastic metal so common today.The previous clock had a white face so zi chose the black face this time.I much prefer the black face, it just seems to give the impression of expensive.Highly recommended and good service.

It arrived with a screwdriver but no battery. The screwdriver was for taking screws out at the back in order to detach the cardboard casing. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. They tell you to take the screws and washers out but not whether or not to put them back again. I deduced that they were just to transport the clock so that the mechanism did not get damaged in transit. I tried several times to get the clock to work but it would not show the correct time. I therefore decided that the screws and washers needed putting back. So I did so and, with a bit more messing around and moving the clock away from its original position and putting it back again it started showing the correct time. It works now and we set every other clock in the house by it. There was some mention of being able to set the clock manually but again I did not understand it. I am sure that I can figure it out but not by using the instructions. So great clock, looks good, easy to read, shows the correct time but not good instructions.

Excellent clock. Couldn’t be simpler to set up, just put the battery in and leave it about 10 minutes. It good to look at. Absolutely silent. Fast despatch. The only challenge was getting through all the packaging to get out the clock! UPDATE: it has NOT put itself forward to summer time. 28/10/20 it’s taken three days to put itself back to GMT !!! I was just about to put it in the bin!

Had trouble getting radio signal even when i went outside the house.Had to eventually go upstairs to the bedroom window. Good thing is that it has an option to.set it manually.The instructions are poorly written. But the clock is classic. Love the sweeping second hand. Its silent(except u place it by your ear).Clock is slighly smaller than expected, but then ita important to look at the dimensions provided and not get misled by the photos.

A good looking clock which worked faultlessly for 22 months and then froze trying to update at the end of BST. Changed battery, reset, etc. no luck, binned it. It seems RC clocks in particular have poor quality movements, I will probably go back to a manual type.

I really like this product, I have been looking for a while for a radio controlled clock that always keeps accurate time and also has a sweeping second hand that is quiet (not many clocks seem to have both of these features) so this fits the bill nicely.It isn't audible at all from a normal distance and so is perfect for a bedroom which is what I use it for. The dial is nice and clear to read and the black and silver model looks excellent in my opinion.

I've had this clock for 3 months, but it took a very long time to initially set itself and doesn't seem to pick up the signal very well (even though I'm relatively close to the MSF transmitter, have a very solid signal and my other two RC clocks are always spot on).This morning it didn't reset to BST, and I've even tried running it outside and removed from its metal surround - still no update.I also agree with comments about the hands not quite lining up.Overall, a disappointing purchase. I would have returned it, but I've been taking it apart to see if I can figure out why it's not working. I'm going to buy an acctim to replace it.
