Beneficial for aching muscles
I've been buying Emu Oil from other online companies for several years, having found it seemed to soothe the aches and pains I'd experienced with a bad back a few years ago. I'm now using it again for a chronic shoulder problem; I don't know if I'm imagining it, but since applying it to my shoulders my symptoms have lessened. Of course, this might be from the benefits of massaging the oil into the affected area as much as from any active ingredients purported to be contained in the Emu Oil itself. Nevertheless, I have found it to make my skin soft and supple and a little does go along way. It is advisable to heat the oil gently in its container before use, as this makes it more "liquid" and easier to apply. I do this by putting the container in a small cup of hot water for a few minutes and then applying it. I do think this product would benefit anyone suffering from chronic joint/muscle problems, such as arthritis and bursitis, as well as more acute musculo-skeletal problems such as muscle strains.
