This color, while called "Purple Panic", is actually a really fun neon pink, with shimmer that is most visible in sunlight. The polish does wear well, but I've yet to get two weeks out of an application, which may be due to my own faulty application. I love how much stronger my nails are with this product on (and topcoat on top), but beware of peeling-- if the product is peeled off, it will most likely damage your nails. I haven't had problems with damage as long as the polish is removed properly, but if it accidentally peels off, or if I peel it, my nails are very roughened and weak. Despite the problems that I've had, they're quite minor in comparison to the convenience of the quick-drying aspects of a gel, the long wear, and added strength. I know I can get at least a week of wear without chips, and generally a week and a half. Maybe if my application skills improve, I'll be able to reach 2-3 weeks! :) Definitely plan to purchase this color again.

First of all, I love, love Gelaze. This is my favorite color. As stated above, the color doesn't quite match the bottle, which I find quite common with Gelaze. I think it may because there is a lot of frost in many of their colors. You may want to check out Sally Beauty Supply so you can see the actual color before you purchase it. Sally has this on sale regularly, but $10 is a great price. I prefer Gelaze because it does not require a base coat. Also, after curung the top coat, you can use rubbing alcohol, or body spray (mostly alcohol, as you may know) in place of the cleaner. Just spray or wipe and then wash with soap and water. I love the body spray because it lingers.
