However, when acquiring this box, it's important to note that due to the deep vacuum in which it comes packaged, there may be some difficulty with the first opening. I recommend making a small hole before attempting to open it for the first time. This will make the initial opening much easier and smoother. Installation was simple and straightforward, and the box is designed with user-friendliness in mind, making it easy to open and close securely. The included mounting hardware made attaching it to the desired location a breeze. The ample space inside the junction box allows for a clean organization of wires and easily accommodated all of my specific needs. It's versatile and suitable for a variety of applications, but it truly shines in the creation of control panels for cold rooms. Considering the quality and performance, the price is very reasonable. I was really impressed with the quality of the box and feel that the higher price is justified. Seems like my projects always take more room than I anticipate, so I was happy that I "oversized" and needed every bit. The solid, removable mounting floor was easy to drill and sturdy.

Box is well built and has good internal mounts. I used it for a Pool Pump controller and the plastic case made sure it wouldn't interfere with the Wifi signal. It has gone through several rains with no issues. Easy to add in my conduit mounts. Would purchase this again!

I built six industrial prototype systems with these and am very pleased with the construction. The hard drillable plastic is quite thick and solid, without the brittleness you see with some plastics used in these types of boxes. They also transfer mechanical load quite well, without deformation or a lot of flex. The clear top has a hint of tinting, which is nice and looks good. The rubber gasket is also solidly installed and doesn't peel out. I also chose these because of the more industrial hinges than what I have seen on others. I love that the base plate is just flat with a faint grid, instead of predetermined hole pattern. I was able to locate my components exactly where I wanted them and drill my own holes. The base plate has ridges underneath that touch the floor of the box to remove all bounce and flex, while still providing a gap for screws to poke through yet not hit the actual box floor.

Using this as a solar panel disconnect box. DIN mounts work well in this box, cable entries are easy to work out, and box is weather tight. Very happy.

This box is the right size for protecting the electronics for landscape lighting and power supplies for low voltage LED lighting. I like to use WiFi plugs to control everything which I do through routines on Google Home. Because it's plastic, it is both waterproof and it won't block the signal. The door latch ensures a good seal and it was super easy to mount and get the proper holes in the bottom for wires to feed up to the various devices.

Nice enclosure, did exactly what I needed it to do. I have this on the side of my chicken coop to hold all of the electrical controls for the coop.

Way more robust and durable than any other plastic enclosure on the market, if you want a professional grade enclosure go with this one. Great company to deal with as well. Strongly recommend Qilipsu.
