The den in general is very robust construction and no rain water can get on because of the recessed doorway. The one niggle which I had but was nothing major was applying the door as the screw holes end up being right on the join if the doorway.

Sturdy but not too large or obtrusive. Mat is a great addition. Do it was easy to install. Bought as a winter shelter for very timid local stray.
