Sturdy and durable cat house, relatively easy to clean. Can be washed inside and out. Feral cat uses it every night.The insert is thick and big but fits surprisingly well. Not essential though as a normal sized cat den will fit too. I’ve washed the insert in 40 degrees several times and it has kept its shape. (Have not dared washed it at 60 which would be preferable.)The overhang is useful. It keeps the rain out and the the insert dry, but it does not protect fully against the wind if the house itself is exposed. To keep more of the wind out, I’ve fastened extra PVC strips to the front. Not so pretty but does the job and the feral cat has gotten used to it.In the winter I added two layers of silver insulation sheet inside, and a foldable seat pad on the floor. Still enough space for the insert and cat.All in all - a good house for a feral cat.

Very sturdy and cosy with liner and mattress my cat uses it often, he's protected from the wind and rain. The only downfall it's a bit small inside.

The cat was unsure for the first couple of days, I even tried placing him inside it only for him to come back out immediately. He's now realised it keeps him warm and dry if he's outside and the weather is poor and happily sleeps in it overnight.Sturdy, weatherproof construction, this will clearly outlast the cat, and the next one too probably.
