Really nice quality but much lighter in color than the picture. I would have purchased a different one if I knew they were that light of grey.

These wool felt coasters are probably the best coasters I have ever had! I have tried a lot of different types; plastic, silicone, metal, glass, leather, stone, flat, ridged, pebbled, you name it I've probably tried it looking for the ideal coaster. I think these are the end of my search!First what they don't do.They don't scratch up the table they are sitting on.They don't fill up with water that condenses and drips down the side of the glass.They don't stick to the glass and then dump that same water in your lap when you pic the glass up and take a drink.They don't have a finish or adhesives that prevents absorption and therefore force moisture to run off the coaster onto the table.They don't feel wet after use. It's a natural characteristic of Wool. It can hold about a third of its weight in moisture before it starts to feel "wet."They don't look wet even after a couple hours of use.They don't soil easily.They don't catch fire easily, a natural characteristic of wool.They don't break when dropped.They don't break whatever they are dropped on; your toe or a glass plate!What they look like... They are a full 1/4" thick. The design is a simple circle made from natural un-dyed heather gray wool.Now, what they do...They sit under even the largest of my glasses absorbing any condensation that drips down while keeping the table dry! Just what I want in a coaster!They allow you to be frugal and still buy quality!I would purchase these again and again. In fact I ordered one set and liked them so much I ordered two more sets the next month! Now my daughters both want sets!
