Arrived in a strong plastic sack, well packaged in a cardboard box. I have previously used Ferromel and have found that no matter how hard I try to fully dissolve it, "grounds" are left, which block the holes in rose/spray bar. This product dissolves very fast and easily, providing a much better smooth flow through the applicator. It is a granular/flaky consistency, rather than a powder and is extremely hygoscopic, so the plastic sack needs proper sealing. I found a freezer bag closure worked very well and did not allow any moisture ingress.Oh and it killed the moss pretty well! Overall, definitely a re-purchase.

Very quick moss blackening and grass green up. A fantastic quick dissolving straight, much cheaper, better and safer than lawn sand.

This product is amazing! Within two days all the moss on my acre of my very neglected garden had changed colour and was dying. I was able to peel it off the ground by either my hands or a rake, although I found it easier with my hands as the ground was quite rough. The little grass I had has started growing like mad and looks well lush. Try it and see how well your grass grows after!

Dispensed from a plastic watering can because it discoloured a galvanised can. I try to use tepid water because it more easily dissolves than in cold. I use just enough product to fully dissolve. I spray it onto the grass at the side of the wood and tow the scarifier over it a few days later.

I've used sulphate of iron as a lawn tonic and moss retardant for many years. It's a dirty dusty business. This particular product is dust free and dissolves in water without leaving a nozzle blocking residue at the bottom of the tank. It will still stain if applied clothing and surfaces. But because it doesn't blow everywhere clean up is much easier.

I am a professional landscape gardener, I have used this product for 2 years now. It's exeptonal value for money, I use a professional wet lawn pitch care spreader to apply it. It must be dissolved in warm/hot water, tap hot is fine. Would recommend this product. For price. Results. And prompt delivery. Many thanks.
