Brilliantly simple solution to a potentially expensive problem: how to use (Arca Swiss) L brackets with RC2 ball heads. Well made, well packaged, performs exactly as you would expect a quality product to do. Perfect.

Good upgrade
Best of both worlds, you can place this on any manfrotto head with a 200PL plate and you can use arca Swiss plates made by different manufacturers. Then if you want just release the plate as you would a normal 200 players and you can use normal plate as you wish, a very well made plate with a smooth operation.

Adds a lot of flexibility to photo trips
I needed to use an L-bracket for a recent photo trip, and the brilliant Manfrotto tripod didn't facilitate that. YouTube showed this as a possible solution, and it really did work. I still use the original QR lock for my longer lenses, but this was very quick to put on, and allowed a fast change to portrait. It was a little awkward at first, as the three way head then had the handles in the 'wrong' place, but that was soon accepted, and manageable. The fact that it is so small helped with 'on the trail' storage in the belt of my camera bag. Well pleased.

Very high quality, and does a perfect job of converting modern Manfrotto, to a more common fixing (Arca-Swiss), very pleased and has reduced the number of times I have to change the base plate on my camera for each tripod.

An excellent piece of kit. Strong and sturdy metal construction and hasn’t let me down. Rock solid. Glad I didn’t spend more on the alternatives as it would have been a waste of money.

now my long lens is stable.
Great clamp and ideal for the long lens giving quick and secure fit and easy release. I had a little adjustment to make for a secure fit onto my Manfrotto496RC2 with a small grinder but 15mins and it was perfect and much cheaper than some other alternatives. This happily supports my Nikon 810 with a Tamron 600 G2. Great purchase.

Simple solution excellently executed.
Fits snugly into the RC2 head. Rock solid. No movement whatsoever. Has saved me a small fortune giving me 2 tripod heads for the price of 1.
