This is such a wonderful Steamer! It is so light and easy to handle. I used to have a steamer that had a long cord that dangerously wrapped around anything nearby. It took forever for it to heat up. The Steam Genie is such a joy since it heats up so quickly. I feel so much safer using this product. The wrinkles on my clothes seemed to disappear quicker as well. It's so easy to use and so easy to store!

So far, I am loving this steamer. It heats up so quickly - I was skeptical but it really does only take about 30 seconds to start producing steam. You must be careful not to let the water level go below the low level mark. The tank isn't very big but I was able to steam one shirt on a full tank. Overall, I think it works really well and I haven't had any issues while using it.

Taking half point because I wish it could fit more water in it. Another half because I burnt myself first time using it :) also because I wish it came with something I could lean the clothes against to. But besides those two things, it works amazingly! It's small so easy to travel with as well in case you need to retouch your travel clothing.Update. After 6 uses, it started growing mold inside and on the ball. Tried to gently clean it, and even though not much of the mold came off I tried using it again. Then, it completely started spitting water. Threw it out. Don’t get fooled.

Well I’d like to write a review of this But I accidentally gave it away when I was sorting Christmas presents to put into tote bags that I give out to my family. The steamer was next to it and I mistakenly took it for something else and placed it in the bag! I was shocked when my niece pulled it out of the tote bag with her other gifts and said she always wanted one. So did I ;0( Gave them five stars because she says it works great.

Low quality product. Works decent but boiling water will splash out of it if you steam too fast or rotate your hand. I burned myself twice this morning steaming one shirt... Very unhappy with the product. Spend an extra $10 for a high quality steamer that will last you a while such as conaire. I already returned my steam genie.

I've had this for a little while now and already brought it on two vacations. It gets the job done fast and it is so easy to use. I hate ironing and this is my happy medium. I have dresses and shirts looking like I took them to the dry cleaner within minutes. I hope to own this for years to come.

Decent steamer for travel. Had some issues with water soaking my clothes but that was due to operator error (once I filled it beyond the max level and it sputtered out large amounts of water. The second time I tilted it too far and the hot water came pouring out).I had a larger steamer that took out the wrinkles much faster but difference is expected since this is a travel sized one.

When my younger daughter switched dance studios, we were told a requirement was to purchase a steamer for her costumes. Not having a lot of money to spend, I purchased this one based mostly on the price point and decent reviews.As far as steaming goes, it does a decent job. I'm sure one of those large, vacuum-sized ones might be better at it, but I'm not a professional, and I really only need to use this a few times a year.The steamer heats up quickly, so it's great in a pinch, and I can usually get at least one costume fully steamed based on the reservoir size, if not start on the next one, depending on size. And while I wish the water reservoir was larger (and the cord longer... it's often tough finding an outlet near your rack in a competition dressing room), this is a decent steamer at an ideal price point.One caveat if you do purchase it: be sure to clean it with white vinegar fairly regularly. It can clog fairly easily from sediment left behind in the process, but this is true of all steamers from what I've seen.
