XBox Series X --> Acer Predator 43" 4k @ 120FPS
I have an older Acer Predator 43" 4k gaming monitor. It's capable of 4k @ 120HZ, but only with DP 1.4. I connected an XBox Series X (HDMI 2.1 Output) to the monitor (DP 1.4 input) using this cable. As soon as I connected it, the XBox recognized the new refresh rate availability and I was able to select 4k @ 120HZ.I enabled FPS counter on the monitor to see if the XBox was actually pushing 120FPS through the cable. It is consistently at 120 FPS. I have noticed no issues with colors or sync. The gameplay is very smooth and the graphics are crisp.The cable/adapter is very simple. Just plug HDMI into XBox, plug DP into your monitor, and plug USB A into a dedicated power source (do not plug it into your XBox/Monitor/PC). No restarting required. XBox immediately picked up the enhanced FPS ability and allowed me to select new settings.

Works well, but there are a few issues I can’t resolve
This works most of time and does exactly what it claims.However, from my ThinkPad, the monitor will quite often boot up in a weird resolution. Unplugging and replugging once or twice usually gives me the intended resolution.The more annoying thing is that the monitor will frequently just drop out for around 5 seconds. Just long enough for Windows to move all my applications back to the primary. I have found this happens more often when I am interacting with the mouse heavily (long right/left mouse presses).Just an FYI, the device gets pretty hot. Not hot enough to burn, but hot enough to be uncomfortable to touch.

Good cable, but mind the graphics settings.
I received the Farikabe HDMI 2.1 to display port 1.4 cable from Amazon.com a week ago and have been using it to connect my digital PlayStation 5 to my Gigabyte G34WQC monitor.Having installed it as instructed in the video provided on the Amazon product page, I found that the colour on the monitor had a grey pallor. After doing research online, I found that the monitor's HDR mode must be disabled in the Windows 11 or PS5 settings.Furthermore, when playing on the PS5 while using the cable, the colours were over-saturated, causing red tones to bleed (see the greens and reds in the second picture). In bright areas, whites appear washed out. I find that, each time I load up God of War: Ragnarök, I need to toggle the game's graphics settings between the performance and quality modes, with and without high frame rate mode, to correct the colour balance.Once all of this tweaking is complete, the graphics look spectacular. I just wish that it wasn't necessary to make these adjustments each time.

Not Bad
Im a competitive gamer and needed something to plug my gaming laptop up to my new monitor. Hdmi works but my monitor locks alot of features behind display port only. I picked this up after doing research this was the only one i can find. People on forums even said hdmi to display port wasnt possible. Until this cable came along. So yeah it does work. Theres a chip the processes the image and converts it. I feel like this process probably has some form of input delay bad on me since i needed the fastest response time possible as a competitive gamer but even if there is it wasnt enough to hinder my performance noticeably enough i still played well on this cable. On top of that it supported 240hz at 1080p. Also i think the image quality was better then my basic hdmi cable i was using before could be placebo but everything just looks cleaner sort of. Ok the cons the cable is thicker then it looks this is a good thing but i plugged it into my monitor and it wasnt working how ever because the cable is so thick it wasnt plugged in all the way so i had to really put some force into it just for it to get plugged into my monitor. Next the price is high its a pretty niche need i get that and theres some tech behind it because a hdmi to display port just doesnt exist usually but $55 is alot to ask. I think this would be a bigger hit if it was only $40. Knowing most high end display port cables and high end hdmi cables are around the $25-$30 range $55 is just a high ask in my opinion. Other then that it does the job but sort of regretful purchasing it due to the high price.

Works and Allows A Higher Frequency with my Existing Monitor
Cable worked perfectly and allowed my laptop to connect to my existing monitor using 240 Hz through the display port. The device gets a little warm but not hot and not an issue since I have it suspended so air gets all around it. Perfect for what I wanted and needed. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get the most out of their existing monitor.
