Just what I wanted
This belt is just what I wanted and expected. Length is just fine, it's not short as I read in another post, you don't need to size up. If you do, you can cut to length as needed. Plastic buckle, but they all seem to be. Sturdy though. Great price too. No need to pay more.

The belt is too wide for the loops on my fishing pants
I couldn’t use it to replace the old one on my fishing pants because it is too wide for the loops.

Best to order largest size and adjust if needed.
Actually the belts are very nice but I am a 36 waist so I ordered the 38 - 41 size and they just barely fit around my waist. Not worth the hassle to return. Luckily my grandson is a 32 and these will work for him. I have to have a CT scan every 3 months and the plastic buckle would have meant I could keep my pants on and avoid a hospital gown.

Nice Belt/Buckle Set
This is basically a plastic and nylon military style belt and buckle and similar to what I wore a half century ago. These are great for passing through metal detectors without taking the belt off, and the buckle holds solid when it's clamped down. If your are not sure what size you need I recommend you get one that's too long because you can cut it down to fit. If you've never used a buckle like this there will be a learning curve on how to make it work, but it's not too complicated once you get it figgered out. This is a very nice belt/buckle set.

Nice belt
this is a very simple nylon belt with a simple plastic closure. I like how thin the nylon is, because it works well with my cargo style pants that have very thin loops.... the thicker leather belts will not fit in the loop holes when I try to double up the end of the belt in the first hole. This thinner style fits well and keeps the end of the belt tightly secure. I did not cut my belt for length and would image if you did that, you'd probably want to melt the end to keep it from fraying.

Does What a Belt Is Supposed to Do
I needed a basic belt for my jeans. I am pretty active and hate it when I am invariably poked or stabbed by a metal clasp on a belt, it seems to happen more often than you'd think. I like that this one doesn't have any metal and is easily adjustable and I can fit it to whatever I'm wearing. I tend to have low rise jeans so the belt had to be big enough to sit on my hips comfortably, for this reason I got the larger size, and it works well.
