The gauge was smaller than I expected but the wire is goo quality and solders well

Minor 9v and 12v applications,.the core is nice metal and the outer is very supple and it just works! Easy to feed behing vehicle paneling and slinks under carpet.

Silicone cable is amazing stuff, you get a great deal of flexibility which allows you to route cables much easier than the traditional plastic sleeves of the past.Cable is not cheap, and silicone coated cable is more expensive than plastic covered cable, and although this (and other) cable seems really expensive, it’s priced pretty fairly even when buying from China direct, i research in depth when considering cable on Amazon and I rarely buy things that don’t match my expectations, and this cable is bang on the money.The bonus with this is the 3 spools which all have a good length on them, this set in particular it excellent value for money and the quality of the product is just as good as anything Else I’ve bought.I use engineer cable strippers (if you don’t have them, go buy them, pa-06 strippers are the best) and these strip really nicely and no problems soldering either.The only real minus point is the strips using sellotape to hold the cable, many of the other silicone cables I have come with a Velcro wrap which you wind over the cable and holds everything in place, minor and I could probably buy a box of those.I’m going to buy more of this set because it’s a useful gauge to have in stock and it’s great value for money.
