Awning Rail Lubricant - White

The product in the bottle certainly does a good job and makes it much easier to slide an awning onto the rail. The only problem is that the spray nozzle on the bottle produces a wide spray but the channel entrance is quite narrow. As a result half the product ended up running down the side of the caravan. The bottle should really have a slim pipe rather than a spray nozzle.

I was a little dubious about buying this due to the product picture, it’s not the best product photo in the world but… (and despite it having a tiny leak in the packaging when it arrived, something I’m willing to overlook) the liquid certainly helps immensely to get an awning through the rail. It’s not sticky & neither does it leave a residue, it just makes the awning slide through without effort.As a first time awning user it made something that seemed a little daunting, very easy.

Certainly does the job. We were a bit over enthusiastic the first time we used it and the porch awning kept sliding off the rail as we put it up! But now we have the hang of it we use it every time and it definitely makes the job so much easier. We even lent it to fellow caravaners who we saw struggling with their awning and they were impressed.

Worked perfectly on our rail - very grubby and difficult to pull awning thru after not using in 2020. Easy to use and worked a treat.

I surprised myself at how excited I was about this product! I often go away in our caravan by myself and one of the tasks I find most challenging is threading in the awning skirt. This has always been a two person job - one to thread and the other to pull. With this lubricant, the awning skirt slides through much more easily meaning that it is now a one person job. I have recommended this to a number of others, who have also found it very effective.

Ok but a bit messy I think wd40 would have done the same job. The spray covers a wider area than needed it could do with a straw like extension! This would make a more accurate spray.
