Not the best.
I ordered these as Rosa watercolours were mentioned in Artists and Illustrators magazine as being good. I ordered the urban set, but the other one came instead.First, you will need a few things to open them. I used scissors and a scalpel to get into them. Best bet, just pull the whole thing out the tin and then open each one, if you have long hard fingernails, it's a win. The paint inside is sticky. Pigment with honey.Lemon yellow is a cool yellow. But cadmium yellow light is more cadmium yellow medium.Carmine is whoah, fire engine red. Not sure what that can be used for tbh. It's a bit intense. I can't think of anything in nature that aggressive. The cadmium red medium is washy. Tge magenta is very rose. Green is an olive and emerald green is really bright. Like the carmine, it's very very intense. The blues, looking at rhe swatch, I'd say washy. They've dried to practically vanish. You get burnt umber and burnt sienna in the set, which are standard, pretty much.I decided to keep the paints, despite not being what I ordered. But now I'm wondering what I'm going to do with them. If Rosa wants to be a leading brand, they have a long way round go. Personally, I won't order the set I thought I'd ordered. Of the honey based paints, White Nights or Koi are better. I use Daniel Smith, Windsor and Newton, or schminke and I've painted all my adult life, 40 years!Ask yourself this: you've drawn and you've painted, all that effort, do you really want something worth looking at when finished? Paint quality is something the artist can only control with money. Buy cheap, on the whole, it's going to let you down. There are definitely exceptions to the rule, especially new brands trying to make it in a crowded market. These, sadly is not one of them.

Excellent Quality!!
Dense pigments, lots of paint, they mix really nicely and are excellent to work with. I own and have worked with more expensive professional brands, and I am really impressed with these for the price, and I plan to invest in more colors. I'm proud to support Ukrainian-made items like these as well!

I love pure colors
I like single pigments to mix myself. This was a beautiful set with a lovely blue tin. I now have a tin for my other pans of Rosa Gallery when these run out of paint.

Smooth and bright
Great rich pigments. I love these paints. Bought a bigger set as well. Last a long time for me as a sometimes painter. This small set is very easy to travel with. Colors are delicious.
