Value for money, good quality, slightly big for the microphone but does the job .

These little foam covers are very simple, but also rather useful. They are pretty effective at suppressing that horrible microphone 'pop' when singing 'p' or 'b' sounds very close to the mic, but without noticeably dulling everything down and reducing the brightness of the sound. They are easy to fit on a standard size dynamic mic, being slightly stretchy they sit in place well with no tendency to come off unless you want them to.I only really wanted one or two, but I've ended up with a pack of ten, some of them are a little bit tatty or ragged compared to the others, but I'm sure they still work just as well. I don't know yet whether they also have any effect in reducing feedback, as I haven't used them for a live performance where that can be a problem, but I would say they definitely do help with the 'popping' problem, they should also help prevent damage to the mic if it gets dropped or knocked a little.They are pleasingly low-tech, and work pretty well.
