For £3 it will do the job necessary and is compact and lightweight to keep in bag to grab when needed while out walking in Scotland to stop the dreaded midges.Only disappointment as with a lot of things when shopping online is that the pictures on Amazon website doesn’t tell the whole truth, this looks like a fully closed pull over head net.....it’s not as it is open at both ends, luckily I will be wearing a hat but it is disappointing that picture on website is misleading people into believing otherwise.

This is a hard wearing mosquito net. Easily warn over a Cycle helmet to prevent mosquitos and other medium sized insects. The netting is not small enough as it allows midgees and small flies in - once they are in, they can't get back out easily, so end up flying around against one's face. Need to reduce mesh size.

Really not suitable for midges as the mesh isn't fine enough and has let quite a few through. Fine against mosquitos.

Perfect protection from the wee beasties and certainly not as obtrusive as first imagined.....so much so that I tried several times to eat without lifting it!!!!....must use with wide brimmed hat to keep it away from the face.....most useful kit for Western Scotland!!!!!!(and I had 0 Midge bites!!!)

Worth every penny, bought for a trip to Greenland and was I glad I did. Many people were waving their arms around looking just as silly as myself. But I was the one nicely coveted. Would highly recommend it.
