Thirteen Theories of Human Nature

The book looks great

I found a lot of benefit out of the knowledge in this book. However, I disliked the continuous value judgements on theories that contradict today's views. In this book you will find X theory (Darwinism for example) surrounded by value judgements from the author, which sometimes can be confusing as it can be hard to know if those are her thoughts or the overall scholar consensus of the time. I also found the language quite complex when in many cases it could have been simplified and made more persuasive. I would have appreciated an explanation of the theories from a more objective point of view, you could feel the author's opinions from the first page.

Ich brauchte das Buch für den Unterricht. Es ist zwar auf englisch, aber mit einigen Vorkentnissen leicht und flüssig zu lesen und zu verstehen.
