When I first bought this I was expecting a traditional Mexican copal, this is definitely not that. When I received the box I was turned off by the scent. Instead of returning it I took a gamble and lit one and man am I glad I did. Don't get me wrong, this smells absolutely nothing like copal, however it is now one of my favorite incense. It is beautiful and floral and has a depth to it. The fragrance is natural and complex and lingers for the right amount of time. It also burns slow and the sticks are quite hefty. I noticed some other reviews complain that the incense go out but that is an indication of these being naturally made incense containing no charcoal or toxic sulfur and instead using upcycled flowers, natural resins, honey and oil. A bonus- this product empowers marginalized women hand rolling this incense in India. I've repurchased this product three times. I prefer the white copal to the dragon's blood personally. I will note the package says it contains 35% powdered white copal imported from Mexico, so it's not false advertising in that sense. Compared to the Japanese inscense I also buy, these are quite a good value for burn time and quantity. Namasté

Yatra is my FAVORITE incense...I was so stoked to see I could order it in bulk on Amazon. The scent lingers and uplifts. Great price for quantity and quality. It burns for a decent period of time and I will buy again!

I am absolutely in love with the scent to the point I've shared it with everyone in my family and my friends. There really isn't anything that compares--I've tried numerous other brands and always revert back to this.The customer service is incredible too. I hope they get their website up soon so I can order directly from them ❤️

I'll say it again- Does not smell like Dragons Blood Resin on a stick at all! I buy and burn dragon's blood resin all the time. This smells very floral and perfumey. The smell of perfume when I'm opening a box of supposedly natural incense is an immediate negative review for me. This does not smell 'natural' and certainly does not smell like real dragons blood resin. The first ingredient is 'flower petals'. The implication this is resin on a stick 'no charcoal required'. If there's real dragon's blood resin in here, it's such a tiny, minute amount, I can't smell it at all. Really disappointed and am requesting a refund after burning one stick, which smells like straight up perfume!

Convenient to use but not much of the Oud scent. Easier clean up than using the agarwood chips. Good amt of incense for the price.

This brand of incense is so good, I have purchased many of their scents and they all smell so terrific and cleanse the space so well. One of the best brands ever, love it.💜

This might be the most appealing incense I've ever smelled. I'm not a connoisseur, but I burn incense regularly and I've tried products from a dozen or so manufacturers. This is my first Calmveda incense and my first time ever smelling Oud, so I don't know how this compares with high-end Oud, but it smells FANTASTIC to me. There are definitely floral notes detectable (particularly rose), but I would disagree with the reviewer who described this as "old lady perfume." The aroma is uplifting, intoxicating, and complex. Every time I open the box, I'm delighted.As for burning, it produces a moderate amount of smoke, enough that I can see it in shafts of sunlight but not so much that the room gets cloudy. It produces more smoke than Japanese incense but less than Satya. The sticks burn for quite a long time, up to 45 minutes. The only con is that they tend to go out frequently. This is fine with me, as I don't usually burn a whole stick at once anyway, but it could get annoying if you have to frequently relight it. Experimenting with different holders or locations may help.
