Just did my very first hot oil treatment this week. Worked like a champ!I bought this heat cap after a disastrous attempt to use coconut oil to treat my swimming pool chlorine destroyed hair aka straw hair syndrome!Using a filtered batana oil bought here on Amazon, I massage the creamy oil into my hair and scalp. After putting on a plastic shower cap, I plugged in the heating cap and put it on. Using the attached hand control,I set the time duration and heat level adjusting both during the hour in the heat cap.The oil worked itself into both my hair and scalp leaving my hair very shiny, soft, and glowing (my wife’s observation). My constant scalp itch is gone.This is the first time I have owned and used a heat cap. It has become the centerpiece of my weekly hair and scalp hot oil treatment.

I bought this because my mom had one years ago and it finally konked out. This works great I love all of the setting options. It even has a timer so I don't have to keep track of how long I've been under it myself. It also comes with a couple of very nice shower caps to wear under it. I make my own deep conditioner and by the time I get out from under it my hair is super soft and moisturized. It's great quality I've had it for several months now and is pretty durable.

I like the dial that controls the temperature, it does the job. Not ideal for the multitasker you certainly can't move about because of the electrical cord however, you can read a book or watch T.V, the cord is not a deal breaker. The cap does a great job and is stylish.

I love this head cap. It gets just hot enough but no too hot. It has an adjustable time and heat setting. I don't have to worry about sitting under it too long.

This is worth every penny and then some! Very well made. You have 3 options for how long you want to wear it. There are also controls of how much heat you want. I have been using this for quite some time now and I highly recommend this seller and product. It comes in a very nice storage bag and full step by step instructions. So easy and convenient.

I love this steamer for my hair. It locks my curls in and moisturizes my hair. After I put moisturizer on my hair and sit under it, my curls come alive.

So im quite surprised this has such a high rating. For me, the cap is quite tight, so i am not a fan of that because i have medium length, big hair, even in 4 twists. Another thing is the sound.. its quite loud, considering my sister has another version of these and it doesnt make any sound at all. And 3rd, it takes considerably long to heat to temperature above 3, about 5-10 goes just into getting up to temp.If you still decide to purchase this product even though there are so many others close in price, i would not recommend going above 5. My scalp is still sore a day later from it heating up to 8. Even though i immediately turned it down, again it too forever to catch up.
