Holy. Crap. These magnets are not messing around.One of the magnets was apparently cracked in shipping and as I was sliding it off the stack, when the spot where the crack was reached the end, it split and the broken piece flew backwards at my thumb -sharp, broken edge first- and sliced right into my thumb nail, from the end to about 1/4 inch down my thumb. I definitely should've been paying more attention so if you read this and buy these magnets, pay more attention than I did!If you're not careful when placing these magnets (or if they get away from you as you're trying to place them) they break very easily. To prevent the magnets from breaking, wrap them each in a layer of duct tape. It doesn't affect their sticking power but adds a little structural integrity.I set one of these on my windowsill so I could cut a piece of duct tape for it and the magnet jumped off the windowsill and stuck itself to my cast iron radiator right in front of the window! It's pretty much permanently stuck there now. I tried to remove it for about 10 minutes with no success. I'll have my husband try when he gets home but I think we have a new radiator magnet in the bedroom.Bottom line: strong magnets. If that's what you need then definitely purchase these.

These are great. VERY STRONG which is what I wanted. I used three each side to mount side mirrors on my tractor without drilling holes. The mirrors are firm and secure but will come off if they hit something solid.Be careful with the magnets however as when stuck to each other they are very difficult to separate. While trying to get two apart, I dropped a pair from counter height onto a concrete floor. One shattered into three pieces. Trick is to rotate first until 90 degrees to each other then slide apart.

These magnets were very strong as advertised and worked well in my application. Be very careful they are fragile as noted, My wife tried playing with them and half of them shattered. I embedded them in a 3-D printed object with 5 mm thick walls and they were still able to stick to a metal object.

They aren’t kidding when they say powerful. Almost took a finger off when it slipped and came slamming down during attraction to the bottom one.One stuck to the fridge, hand to use a lot of force to slide it off. There is no chance of pulling it off. Almost was there permanently.FYI: keep away from phone. This is F&@! it up like you read about!!

Using some of these submerged in liquid and the coating is proving perfect. Also good grip strength.

Very good for projects that need more power, These were my second order. I have more projects for these.. If you need to only hold tools or knives these are a great demonstration of overkill.

These are strong magnets, it's true, but they're incredibly brittle. They're fine if you, say, embed them in a piece of wood, but until then, be careful, as the slightest shock could break them into pieces.
