It was obvious when I opened the packaging that the item had already been sent to someone else and returned. No film over the camera lens and the -plugs were just loose in the box. So, I imagine that I'm not the first person to waste eight hours fiddling with this useless unit. I loaded the app onto my phone and followed the video instruction but could never get the camera to connect to my phone. Just got "Search Failed". I even tried inserting the ID of the unit and scanning for it but with no luck. I suppose someone before me had the same problem and the item was just returned to stock and sent out again. So 've no confidence in Knewmart will supply me with a new unit and I don't want to be part of their product testing strategy. Therefore, I've requested a refund and I'll but a more reliable brand in future.

A terrific product for the price. Setup was a little difficult but use of YouTube clarified and can now view images on phones (Android) and iPad. NB camera only works on 2.4Ghz network not on 5.0Ghz so switch to 2.4 before setup start.We use to remotely monitor our puppy to make sure he’s ok and sleeping etc. The UV night mode is very usefull see images attached. Can also monitor when away from home network via 3/4g phone network - brilliant! Thoroughly recommended.

Not easy to install. Didn't work so had to return.

It worked well at the beginning for a couple of months, but as time progressed it froze more often and now after 7 months of usage it is completely broke. The device will turn on but it won't connect as it shows offline on my app. reset doesn't do anything, so I think it's just dead. Build is decent, but the quality of it is questionable.

When this camera arrived well packed looked very nice, only took about 10 minutes to set up. Good quality pictures I was very pleased ,The width or coverage of area could be a little better but for the price very good, but after two weeks the camera stopped working, I reset it three times but no good, I contacted the seller who answered very quickly asking me to reset it once again which I did but camera faulty and would not work. Now I am being asked if I will fit a new motherboard to the camera if they send it to me, it will take up to 2 weeks to arrive from China ,I don't think so, I would have thought a replacement was due I cannot see many people getting out the tool kit to do repairs.I will have to see what amazon has to say on this matter.

Is used in my daughter's room, does not move from side to side or up and down. Basically you got what you paid for. But it works and does the job like stated.

Not the easiest product to set up. Finally got it working at my parents house, took it home the same day (I have a dual band router, changed all my settings so the phone and camera would be on 2.4Ghz settings) and it won't connect, unable to reset the camera, feels like no button in the pinhole.

A little tricky to set up but once it was working, it’s amazing. Pictures quality is great. We watch it on the iPad and both iPhones.
