Lighthouse Hydro 240W Blackstar UV Led Grow Light 3w

I have purchased a pair of these LED's because they seam better then light house hydro.They use 3 watt diodes too and have the same dimensions but also has three year warranty.I got one from vm innovations and one fulfilled by amazon sold by vm innovations.They have great customer service.I had a old light 180 watt h.o. by light house hydro and let them know half of it half the diodes had gone out when i called them.Payed to ship it back and now soon ill have the 280 watt H.O. Veg/Clone dirt genius led lamp soon vm innovations is cool thanks everyone from there customer service is great.Lights work great too cant wait to see the results of the new lights this time using the flowering model yaya got veg/clone ones last time on accident lol.Now i have a veg set and a flowering set so longer lifespan for my LED panels if not 3 year warranty so yeah good buy and customer service.

After a year and a half I discovered that one of the 2 light panels failed. I contacted Blackstar; the service and recommendations were prompt: Switch the power sources to make sure it wasn't a power problem. Nope. Next step: Pay $75. to replace the failed panel. That's a third of the new price, and it's just over warranty. This shouldn't happen. The cooling fans are noisy, too. I would not recommend this product.

I would just like to start off that I have been using this light for a little over a year with my tomatoes ;veg and fruit / flower. Not sure what lights 'Zin' was referring to but the single light was so productive with regular growth and then flowering, I had to buy another one. These things work the best 14-18" away from the top of your tomatoes .If I was richer I would seriously consider buying alot more. Whoever doesn't loses out, whatever! People ask my my secret to growing big tomatoes and it doesn't go any farther than a good feeding schedule and these lights right here. Probably the best side effect of the leds is how little heat they put off. With two, expect it to be right around or under 80°, which really helps the tomatoes absorb all of the water. Perfect for winter and summer.

I was looking to add some extra punch (and some UV stimulation) to my small fluorescent setup without cranking up the electricity bill or needing to install a second air conditioner. Based on price and specs, this is what I settled on. I've been using this light in conjunction with said fluorescents for some time now. The results have been outstanding. The product is also well constructed, was shipped securely and arrived undamaged, and has performed perfectly for months now.I don't know that I would expect it to cover a 16 sq.ft. area by itself with great results. But in a smaller (perhaps closet-sized) setup with supplemental lighting it works extremely well. Recommended for anybody seeking a good deal on an effective, moderately sized LED panel.

This thing gives performance on par with a 400 watt HPS. It only uses a third as much electricity in comparison. The heavy red hues, uv, and infrared really stimulate the plants to grow. It also causes just the right amount of stress for sticky and fragrant plants. The light its self probable never goes above 90 degrees. Lowest heat option available yet.7/29/2015I have purchased two 400 watt 80 diode 5 watt power panels, and these have done better. It is not that the bigger panels I got a junk either, they provided excellent results too. I have seen plants grow over three inches in a day under these.

I gave this product 5 solid stars for great construction, ease of use, and price of this grow light. I have been looking at very expensive led grow lights when I came across this light because of its ratings. I did my research on this light and the rating remained consistent so I looked no further and saved myself a ton of money from buying those really expensive led grow lights. I will update my review when I have finished my grow and the rating will be based on performance and yield. Thank you Dirt Genius.

I purchased this light after my blackstar burned out. 1/2 of the leds went dead after 3 yrs.So far, the dirt genius feels much sturdier and better built. The light intensity is blinding, as a 280W LED should be. I haven't had it long enough to see any growth or yield differences yet as compared to the blackstar.I'll come back and update when it has been in use longer:but so far - VERY HAPPY

The light is great. My plants are growing amazingly fast. There is no stress on my plants, I haven't seen leaves this big before. Great light!
