Product Review: Kingston FURY Renegade 2TB SSD
The Kingston FURY Renegade 2TB SSD is an exceptional storage solution that has significantly improved my system’s performance. Here are my thoughts based on my experience:**Pros:**1. **Blazing Fast Speeds:** This SSD offers incredibly fast read and write speeds, making it perfect for gaming, video editing, and other high-demand applications. It drastically reduces load times and enhances overall system responsiveness.2. **Large Capacity:** With 2TB of storage, it provides ample space for a large number of games, files, and applications, eliminating the need for additional storage solutions.3. **Reliable Performance:** Kingston is known for its reliability, and the FURY Renegade lives up to that reputation. It performs consistently under heavy workloads without any hiccups.4. **Durable Build:** The drive is built to last, with high-quality components ensuring long-term durability and data integrity.5. **Easy Installation:** Installation was straightforward, and the drive was quickly recognized by my system. It comes with a comprehensive set of instructions, making it easy even for those with minimal technical expertise.**Cons:**1. **Price:** The high performance and large capacity come at a premium price. It may be a significant investment for some users, especially those on a budget.2. **No Included Heatsink:** The drive does not come with a heatsink, which might be necessary for maintaining optimal performance under extended heavy use. However, this can be purchased separately if needed.**Conclusion:**The Kingston FURY Renegade 2TB SSD is a top-tier choice for those looking to boost their system's performance with fast speeds and large storage capacity. Despite its higher price and the lack of an included heatsink, its reliable performance, durable build, and easy installation make it a worthwhile investment for gamers, content creators, and power users. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a high-performance SSD.

Performance and ease of installation good.
Performance and ease of installation good. I needed extra space and better performance so went the this.Heat resistance there is none if you didn't buy the heat sink. For me that was not required. My MB came with these metal heat sinks built onto the board. Unscrew them, slap in the SSD and replace. Easy peasy. As for durability it's only been a few months but, still going strong.

Worth it
Love the storage space can actually keep a decent amount of games on it now. Worked right out of the box. I’ve had no problems with it whatsoever. Very efficient and fast. Worth every penny.

Great SSD
Works like a charm, easy to install, basically a plug and play, might take alittle bit of computing knowledge to create a partition but the speed is good and size is great for the price

Best of the best
This SSD has TLC NAND memory (faster than QLC that is used in cheap and mid-range drives), has the largest pSLC-cache (1/3 of the drive capacity) among all the known consumer NVME SSD drives and has 1Gb DRAM cache. So, basically, you can't get any better than this.If you fill up the drive with large files to see the sustained write speed, it starts at 5-6+ Gbytes/s and then, as the SLC cache ends, drops to 1.5 - 2 Gbytes/s. If you keep filling the drive, at the end the speed will still be over 1 Gbyte/s.The average speed when filling the full drive (to 100%) is about 2 Gbyte/s, which is absolutely great.Keep in mind, the (in)famous CrystalDiskMark does not test such uses cases, it only emulates writing and reading a small file (even if you choose a large file size. CrystalDiskMark is a joke). That's why a lot of people will post insane speeds from CrystalDiskMark, but then, in reality, see much lower speeds when writing large files to the drive. This is not the case with this drive, because, as I said, it has fast memory, DRAM cache and the biggest pSLC-cache.The drive uses a reliable Phison controller, which is also used in some Crucial models and other good SSDs.Kingston guarantees the endurance of 1000 TBW (terrabytes written), which is a lot. Although, it doesn't mean the drive can't stop working sooner :) But I hope it will serve me for many years.Very highly recommended.

Great product
Blazing fast for a boot and game drive. Replaced an aging Sata SSD and it's night and day.

SOLID SSD.
Looks great, easy install in the disk management once you format and set your drive. Running my games from this SSD is definitely a major improvement. No stuttering or lag, and quick loading with the high data speeds this provides.

Exactly 4TB
The media could not be loaded. Really small compared to an HDD. Got for my PS5 installation took 2 minutes YouTubed instructions. Gives you exactly 4 TB happy about that seems to be working exactly as described transfer time and loading time is much faster. If you have an HDD and been thinking about getting this for your PS5 just do it you won't regret it also it does not replace your memory on your PS5 it just adds onto what you already have. I have 1 TB on my PS5 with this 4 TB SSD I now have a total of 5 TB memory will update in a year date is 12-9-24
