My 4th time buying this product. Sharpens very well but gentle on soft core pencils.
As always, this will be my go to pencil sharpener that I use on all my good pencils like Prismacolor and FC Polychromos, it has 3 sizes and so far I have tried almost every brand out there except Derwent, but they went dull or fell short. It sharpens to a perfect point. Every colored pencil brand or size my differ results, it’s not for big chunky pencils just regular size, I even sharpen a few square ones with now issue but it’s not a good idea to stretch that plastic too far there is a space that can loosen up how perfect the size is and keeps the pencil level while sharpening. This is my 4th buy of this exact product. I won’t even sharpen any pencils if I lose this or it breaks bc I know another one will rip my Prismacolor tips to shreds 🤓🧐🤭

Perfect for colored pencils
Wow this is such a great sharpener for colored pencils! I love that you can change the angle so that you can adjust how long you want the tip to be, and it is sharp on every setting. It works great on cheap and more expensive colored pencils, and doesn't waste a lot of lead while sharpening. I love this thing!

The STAD T'GAAL Adjustable Angle Sharpener is the BEST
The Kutsuwa STAD T'GAAL adjustable-angle pencil sharpener is superior to other hand-held, compact sharpeners I've tried (including upscale, big-name aluminum-cast, stylish sharpeners costing quintuple the price).Lately, I've taken to collecting free IKEA pencils to be used as sharpener testers since so many hand-held sharpeners have been disappointing. I wasn't willing to sacrifice my favorite pencils when trying out new sharpeners anymore. I was surprised at how well the STAAD T"GAAL sharpened!I used the STAD T'GAAL consistently for months—day after day. It sharpened Staedtler, Faber-Castell, Blackwing, Mitsubishi, Derwent, Tombow, Caran d'Ache, and Prismacolor (and free IKEA pencils) beautifully. The results were impressive across all grades: 9H to 2H, F, HB, and 2B to 9B.The STAD T'GAAL sharpener has five different sharpening angle settings. Options One and Two produce a shorter, sturdier tip (perfect for colored pencils). Options Three to Five produce a more extended, sharper, long-point (great for harder lead graphite pencils). It's lightweight and the perfect hand-held size: 2.5"/ 63mm x 1"/27mm.

Sharpens into a nice, fairly long point
Good sharpener! Puts a nice long, fine point on my Faber-Castell Durer Watercolor Pencils. I've had problems with the lead breaking when I've used other sharpeners, but not with this one. I'm going to buy another, but it does mar the wood finish up about 1/2" and the little door to close the sharpener so that shaving dust is contained doesn't operate well. It does close, but if you turn it upside down, the little door falls open halfway.

Fantastic little sharpener for colored pencils
This tiny cheap sharpener was featured in a YouTube video about best sharpeners for colored pencils. This cheap little sharpener was one of the favorites because you can adjust the angle of the sharpened point without compromising the sharpness of the tip, unlike other adjustable sharpeners that just let you adjust how sharp or dull you want it. And I can sincerely say it does an excellent job. Sharpeners that make a longer point worry me because they’re so much easier to break. I bought an X-ACTO Teachers Pro electric sharpener and it works great but makes a much longer point. We’ll see how this holds up. In the picture, the three pink pencils were sharpened with the T’GAAL set to #3, and the green one with the X-ACTO.

Sharp points and no breaks to your pencils
The media could not be loaded. I am obsessed with this sharpener. I've been using it for 5 years now, and I don't know what I would do without it. I even have a backup just in case, but it's still new in it's packaging since the one I'm currently using is still going strong. It sharpens all color pencils so well without breaking them. It has five adjustable settings. Watch the video I shared so you can see the difference of how each setting sharpens the pencils.

Finally. The perfect sharpener.
This is the best colored pencil sharpener!! The different levels of sharpening it offers is game changing. I have the Arrtx set of colored pencils and singles of prisma colors and a few other brands. The softer, creamer pencils, like the Arrtx and prisma colors sharpen absolutely perfectly on 2. It has 5 settings. At 5 I sharpen my harder sketching pencils. I’m buying a few more of these so they are always in reach and in my travel bag too.
