Bay Window Curtain Rods

Took about an hour to install, but worth it. Just make sure you measure. Directions are simple. If you can use a drill and tape measure, you’re good to go! I’ll be ordering a second one for our other bay window!

We have two narrow windows on walls that are at a 135 degree angle, and I couldn't find any corner curtain rods or pairs of rods that would fit the space AND returned to the wall (we have a neighbor's light problem). Used this bay window rod system without the middle piece, and it worked perfectly. Used one of the wall hooks designed for the middle rod of the bay window setup, and put it near the corner between the two windows. It was a little challenging to install (partially because of our odd configuration), but it seems quite stable now that it up.

I should have measured my windows. I think these are measured where the center window is a standard measurement and the two side windows are smaller. We bought and spray painted a dowel rod to fill the 10-12” gap on the side windows. Not my favorite, but we made do.

The box was absolutely destroyed and the product looked like it had been used. The hardware to hang the rod was missing as were the screws. The quality of the product is very cheap. I kept it because it was absolutely needed at the moment and we used hardware we already had. At this point, I'm too tired to take all my curtains down again and order another one.

Once I finally got this up, it looks really nice. It was a bit of a pain to put up. Not because it was too complicated, but because of cheaply made parts. Some of the screw heads were defective and they tend to strip very easily. I ended up using my own anchors and screws. I also think the directions make this seem much more complicated than it is. I used a leveler to make sure each piece was level, but it's also a good idea to eyeball it as well. Probably not worth the price, but all in all, I like this product.

It took six hands to get this rod up, but I'm so pleased! Make sure you have extra anchors on hand, the ones that came with the rod fell into the wall because they don't have that little ring that holds it in place on the outside of the hole. Love love love, definitely better than three short rods!

This curtain rod works perfect for our bay windows. Installation was easy. It came with 4 brackets, but felt solid with only 2 brackets and the ends mounted, therefore, we didn't even need the other 2 brackets. My only complaint is that the curtain rod was all scratched up when we extended the side pieces (like something inside the curtain rod was causing the extension to scratch). It is not noticeable with the curtains that we used, but it was a little disappointing.

Nice design overall... except the brackets. The design of the brackets is such that it's nearly impossible to get the screws all the way in with a screwdriver. I was able to get the screws mostly in after some awkward contorting of my arm, and I'm happy with the result! My heavy curtains are up and the rod feels sturdy.
