It's a good starting point
It has a lot of useful information however I felt like a few concepts were poorly explained. The author talks about a variety of topics without really going in depth much. It is good at introducing ideas about memory, detecting lies, making deductions and much more as well as just full of some really good information.I really wish someone would have proof read the book however because there are frequent grammar, spelling and format errors. Unless I'm misunderstanding, I feel like there are a few times the author slightly contradicts himself; it's only minor but can be really confusing at times. If you want a starting point to become a mentalist or Sherlock-esque deductionist I would definitely recommend this book. It will give you exercises and enough knowledge to start practicing until you are ready to move onto more specialist sources of information.

The Bible for Deductionist
This book is the bible for deduction enthusiasts world wide. Though the information contained within the pages is mainly for the UK and US readers, the book gives a wealth of information that gives you the starting blocks to get you on your feet and deducing from your own observations. From page one you are given the tools to work your mind in such a fashion that you don't need to set some time aside to work on the skills. And if you are able to set time aside you will just excel even further. From the basics of memory palace building to observational games the books turns what seems to be a chore when you read or hear about being observant into a fun and pleasurable experience. Now due to the sheer amount of information required to give you everything to be the next Sherlock it would need far more than one book so this book will give you the starting blocks and then it's for you to build from there. The only downside I would to the book is that some of the picture quality is poor when the book aims to test what you have just learnt. However if you are using what you read in everyday life then this is of no hinderance because you are already testing your knowledge. This book on its own is a superb starting place for all Deductionist. Used in conjunction with some other books based around the same skills and practice you can become the next Sherlock Holmes.

It is good for the beginners.
It is a good start if you want to learn the science of deduction, but not more than just a start. The beginning was kind of boring/average, or maybe I've had big expectations. But as you read, you will definitely learn something from this book. For sure is better than the other ones on the market. Good for the beginners.

Get this book in your basket now!
This book is amazing. Easy to follow training exercises that can help you become really good in the mentalist area of showmanship. Also the skills taught here can help to improve yourself and how you are/what do you need to work on. The skills are that easily to transfer worth the money and the time invested. Look out for other titles from Ben!

Other than that I absolutely loved every single bit of it
the only thing wrong with it I could possibly find is that the paperback (so not the ebook) is formatted poorly. Other than that I absolutely loved every single bit of it. The explanations are clear and some of the best and easiest I've read. A must read for any aspiring Sherlock Holmes.
