Tektro - Service Kit Complete

I had to purchase this kit for my "Tektro Draco" front brake system. I mistakenly pulled the brake handle WITHOUT BRAKE PADS in between, causing a piston to fall out, along with all the mineral fluid.It was a great night...Watched a few videos on how to add the fluid and voila, it now works flawlessly.

Easy to use, much cheaper and quicker than using a bike repair shop

My brakes were at the limit and the handle was getting softer and softer. After a few quotes, I decided to have a go myself. This kit provides all the needs to bleed the brakes but you will still need a spanner and an L-key.I don't give 5 stars because, for the price, it should include more fluid. It is barely enough for both brakes if you need to replace the full circuit.

Kit had everything except for second syringe or reservoir. Would of gave 5 marks if it included a 2nd syringe. Does the job great if you can source one.

Firstly, I was able to successfully shorten two hoses, refit the fittings (supplied in this kit), and refill and bleed a pair of Tektro Auriga Sub brakes. That's the good news. The bad news: the syringe and fittings are badly design and cheaply made and the supplied silicone tubing kept coming off, spilling oil everywhere, resulting in only a few drops of oil left when I finished the job, and a big mess to clean up (half a roll of paper towels)... not impressed, but at least it was cheap and included spare compression fittings.

I bought this for servicing a bike with Tektro Draco brakes. Originally I couldn’t get hold of any Tektro brake fluid towards the end of 2020 and bought generic mineral fluid from Halfords but that wasn’t any good. The brakes were too soft. Not what you want when braking!I bought this to replace the Halfords green fluid and they’re way better as they should be. It comes with only one injector which isn’t great but I had others already. There’s also just enough fluid so if there’s a spillage or the hose flies off and you loose the fluid in the syringe then you need to buy more.I’d recommend buying the kit separately and a larger bottle of fluid.
