So do I but Fox in Socks ...never quite sure if hes laughing at the story or me tripping up over the tongue twisters . Great book , now being used to get him to point out all those 3 letter words ..fun funny and educational (without him knowing it!)

Great. Many childhood memories. Green Eggs and Ham was the 1st book I ever read on my own (outside of primary school books). It has a rythm that my mouth enjoyed. The Cat In The Hat is a blast and The Cat In The Hat Comes Back is crazy. Fox in Socks is quite a twister, even the main character gets tired. Finally, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is a lovely story, rather calming after all the action of the other 4. I stories can be fun to read to your child and also a good way to grasp the twists and turns of the english language (I'm American). The stories are fun and great reading for beginners. The illustrations are also great.

I bought this as a gift for my neice who turns 5 soon. Since the rhymes in this book are a bit of a tongue twister, don't worry. You can play the audio book version that's available on YouTube while reading this book to your child. The font is large and the pictures are vibrant. A must buy!!

Mio figlio è bilingue e lo trova fantastico anche se alcune pagine sono in bianco e nero. Ma è un buon compromesso da leggere. Consigliato. Mio figlio ha 4 anni.. ora legge con il padre solo quella del Grinch di Natale
