I had ordered this treasure box for my son’s 3rd birthday and we had a treasure hunt. It was a huge success and the children loved it. Nice that you get more accessories than just a box with gold and jewls for the children to get the extra feeling of being pirates

The chest looks amazing and really realistic with a sturdy feel and strong hinge. However, as many others have posted before, the padlock let's the product down as it broke immediately with the first use (plastic key snapped off inside it)

Feels cheap and plastic but it was perfect for a children's treasure hunt and will withstand being played with around the house. Very happy with this purchase!

Lovely little chest. Perfect for my 5 yr old boy. Plastic padlock hooks little flimsy but spares are included.

seems small and lighter than expected for the money

At first when I saw the box I thought it was way too small and that there was no way all the bits that said came with it would fit but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did they all fit but it looked way better than I thought when I opened the chest itself. Loads of gems and coins and other bits and pieces really made it feel like you were opening a real treasure chest. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it. The chest is a little flimsy so I wouldn't be getting it as a storage container but its perfect for little kids and their imagination to run wild with

Chests looks good but THE KEYS WILL SNAP, I've known papadums with more resistance

Bought this for my five year old grandson's birthday two months ago. It still has pride of place on the coffee table, always locked and the key in a 'secret' location. He adored it, everything always goes back in the box - plus a few extras don't leave any coins around because a treasure chest should always have money in it.I was pleasantly surprised by the size and the contents. It's so difficult to buy for is a these days, they have so much, but this fired a wee boy's imagination.
