Used it to paint.
I used this as an extension on my roller to paint. Very sturdy.

Ettore Extension Pole for Light Bulb Change Kit
As described, fast delivery, good value for price. Only Negative: not all associated Ettore Kit parts fit this extension pole. I obtained a proper sized dowel, drilled holes for set screws in the two parts that did not fit this pole; problem solved.

Excellent For Windows and Skylights
I bought the Squeegee Off soap, along with the ProGrip Cleaning Kit and 5 Ft. Interlocking Pole to clean my skylights. I had no idea how else to clean the interiors since they were up so high. I decided to try using the ProGrip with the Squeegee Off cleaner to wash my windows too. I have probably tried every commercial window cleaning product ever made, as well as some homemade recipes I've found on line, but everything always left streaks (except for Glass Wax, which works but is a pain and leaves a powder residue everywhere).. Well, I've finally found something that works without streaking! If I could, I would rate these products 10 stars, they're THAT GOOD. Add a little to a bucket of water, soap up your windows, and squeegee off. That's all there is too it. Dirt and film are removed from the windows without leaving any streaks. My windows sparkle they are so clean. And it's so easy! If I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it. The squeegee in the kit is very well made (much better than the cheap one I bought at Linens & Things several years back) and I would hope, but haven't tested, any ol' squeegee would work just as well. The pole was plenty long enough to reach the skylights in my cathedral ceilings (I stood on a step stool but probably didn't need to). I would definitely recommend these products and would buy them again (I will probably stock up on the Ettore Squeegee Off because every time I find a product I love, it ends up being discontinued.)

Amazing Ettore Set! Buy Buy Buy!
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! This window set has made me a very happy lady! :) I hate washing windows, which is why I have graciously offered that chore to my hubby for the past 26+ years. I bought this pole, the long 12' rod, the squeegee and cleaning wand (separate pieces), plus cleaning solution based on reviews. I am a BELIEVER! We have only an 1800 sf house, but the windows are huge picture windows, and our dove can't seem to understand that the glass will hurt them, not to mention make little dove imprints of their poor bodies left on our glass, complete with a few sticking feathers. I'm not kidding. :(Our house is backed up to a mountain, our front yard is about 6' lower than the back yard's level. Plus, with the height of the windows, my husband has had to get an 8' ladder and precariously perch while trying to wash. Bless his heart, it took him about 1 1/2 hours to do it right. This system took us (working together) about 15 minutes. SERIOUSLY! He washed with the shorter rod and I squeegeed with the longer 12' rod. Done in 15 minutes! I'm telling everyone I know about this set. I recommend buying 2 rods to keep from having to switch back and forth between washing and wiping. I don't even mind doing the windows now.

Bye bye spider webs
One of my biggest pet peeve is seeing spiderwebs accumulate outside patio walls. I wrapped the end of the rod with a paper towel and secure it with a rubber band, and then go around areas wherever I see webs; works great for this purpose. Because I am 5’,4”, it’s like having a 10 foot rod. I love that it is nice and sturdy.

Snap button stuck.
I have read a lot of reviews about the "snap button" being almost impossible to remove scrubber from pole. You're absolutely right. Worked with if for awhile with no luck then I tried some WD 40 and bingo it came right off. Put it back on the pool, this time on the other side with the depressed hole and it works fine, Good old WD40 to the rescue. Been using it for at least 60 years, just when it hit the market. (I know I'm old) The old octogenarian still has it. Well sort of.
