Bought these for my 15yr old suffering from turf toe as an alternative for the flat sandals they gave him at the orthopedist. They work perfectly in his shoes under the original shoe insoles, and are helping his toe heal. I didn’t use the adhesive, just slipped them in! Highly recommend!

This has good stiffness as it should be for its use. But if you are also having trouble with plantar fasciitis, this is not for you.

Even when placed under a shoe/boot insole, this is so stiff that it doesn't conform AT ALL to any shoe I have. I know rigidity is the point, but it needs at least some material at the 'cutout' in the insole. Instead, it leaves a hard/rubbing gap where the insole 'rises above' the shoe insole.

I have the beginning of arthritis in my big toe and was hurting at every step. I know that a stiffer shoe would help because Birkenstocks work, but sometimes I just want to wear my tennis shoes. This insert solved my problem perfectly. It doesn't interfere with my walking. I don't notice it at all really, except that it keeps my toe from hurting. You do want to put it underneath the insole that comes with your shoe. Pull the insole, slip the insert into the shoe and then replace the insole. It's going to make your shoes a tad tighter at the bridge of your foot so just loosen your laces a bit. I did not try it with any shoe that wasn't a lace up so I can't comment on that.

Absolutely great product. After serving in the military, I was injured and lost the ability to use my right toe. This product allows me to run again!
