Easy and works
Keep little fingers away from switches that shouldn't be switched either off or on .Used on a Immersion heater, stops it being switched on by mistake also used on a security light that should not be switched off. Easy to fit, can be switched when required by using a ballpoint pen .Would recommend

Great. Sturdy and simple solution to avoid outside PIR lights being accidently switched off.

They work!
Though there is not a lot to say about switch guard covers, these were just what I needed. I could block of the switch very effectively with one of them. The cover stuck down well and has remained sticking strongly over switch - I could also see that I could remove cover when no longer needed. It looked fine on the wall and I was pleased with it. It works very well for my purposes. You can still put a pencil or similar through small holes in the cover to use the switch - I didn't want to, but the option is there. It wouldn't be suitable for a situation where you wanted to prevent someone turning it on with a pencil or similar slim stick.

For Those Little Fingers and Unintentional Switch Flips
So, we installed these Decoralin Light Switch Cover Guard Caps the other day, and I have to say, they're a bit of a game-changer in our household. Well, technically it's not quite a 'game', unless you count the number of times my toddler used to flip that light switch as part of her obstacle course. In my experience, having young kids in a home requires constant vigilance...and creativity. Now, these little covers don’t just work for keeping curious little hands from playing with the switch, but they're also great for preventing those accidental flicks that seem to happen at the worst possible moments. I mean, who hasn’t battled the unexpected darkness during a moment when you need the lights on? That one time, as I was plating dinner, the lights flicked off...only to realize my elbow brushed against the switch. Yeah, not ideal. The install is, to my relief, pretty straightforward. I tend to think of myself as relatively handy, but even if you’re not, it’s nothing to sweat over. I was done in about 10 minutes per switch, tops. Can’t say I miss those unexpected blackout moments...They sit snug and allow for intentional switching, which is the whole point, right? Still, while these guards are terrific, they don't win a perfect five-star for me. Maybe it's the aesthetic? They look alright but could blend a bit better.Overall, if you're looking for a practical solution to a widespread issue in homes with kids (or forgetful grownups), I'd definitely recommend giving them a try!

Did Not Fit & Weak Adhesive
Unfortunately, this did not fit my standard UK white plastic light switches. The adhesive was also quite weak—my 15-month-old daughter pulled it off effortlessly. Since it didn’t fit properly, I could only stick it on one side, which made it even less secure. I ended up returning it and am still looking for a better alternative. Wouldn’t recommend this one.

Exceptionally simple but useful
Exceptionally simple but useful, and prevents my lovely partner from 'accidentally' turning off the garage freezer switch in the kitchen and also the server switch in the living room when she does ironing. So for a few quid the worry is gone..and I don't receive emails from my grumpy old server now warning me of critical errors from an improper shutdown. Should add an UPS I suppose, just to make sure.
