IF - your cat can tolerate the noise, this would be wonderful for those who want or need to shave down their long-haired, soft and fluffy cat. My precious one is a "CH" cat who is a bit wobbly in the litter box and unable to clean herself. So, the people who had her before me kept her in a lion cut, keeping her mane/chest area trimmed neatly. I bought this to use to maintain her "hairdo" - she was happy letting me brush her with the trimmer as long as I didn't turn it on. The minute I turned the trimmer on though - she bolted and wouldn't come near. Yes - I know the trimmer is advertised at "less than 50dB" but, perhaps a CH cat has more sensitive hearing? Anyway - the design is perfect for cats - and, I could tell that it would do a wonderful job easily - IF your cat can tolerate the noise.

I recommend this product. I have a long hair cat. She’s up in age and not able to clean herself very well. Her hair has been getting matted. She would not let me brush her to get the mats out. I used the trimmer gently on her. She didn’t put up a fight. She laid down and let me shave her. The trimmer got off all of her mats. Did a great job. Worth the price.

I am giving 4 stars because hair kept getting caught in the guards so I eventually just used the clippers without a guard lol…My poor cat. But the clippers themselves do work! 😂It still does make a noise but not as loud as normal plug in clipper set for men’s hair.I do recommend as the clippers work, I wish the hair wouldn’t get caught in the guards.. but I definitely botched my cats hair. 😂

This compact shaver is quiet which was great. Didn’t freak out my cat. Shaver worked well in removing fur, easy to use. I bought it in pink, charging is easy. Like the cordless design. Had 2 accessory combs and usb cord. Overall I like my purchase.

Absolutely fabulous! My Pekingese loves bathing, today I trimmed her hair and she loved it. The trimmer fits great in your hand, easy to control.it is quiet enough mot to stress my pup. Also used it on my cat. She did not enjoy this but she had some awful mats that were beyond brushing. Mission accomplished! Trimmed away the mats ! Great products! We all thank you!

This clipper works really well. I have a medium hair cat and it cut through the fur like butter! My cat hates (hates!) being brushed so I had no choice but to shave her because she was getting matted. I didn’t want to sedate her for grooming and this solved my problem. Worked well on paws too. Whisper quiet. She was mostly relaxed the entire time.

I have a very very very furry cat and I wanted to be able to trim up his backside as he brings pieces out of the litter box. With the guard it didn't do a thing. Without any guard it really is not perfect for the amount of hair this cat deals with. It seems to charge fine and keeps a charge and it nice and compact...but it's gonna take multiple attempts to mow down this fur.

My cat has diabetes so we shave him quite often to put on his glucose monitor. He absolutely responded well to this razor. It shaves well, is quiet, and is easy to use.
