I apply body oil after i shower. what if the oil drips onto the mat? will it damage the stone? can i clean it off? thank you.

We do not recommend applying any lotion/oil while standing on the Bath Stone as it can absorb into the stone and leave discolorations. In the event you do get it on the stone, we recommend quickly dabbing it up and then cleaning the stone with hydrogen peroxide or bleach. You can also use the included sanding paper to gently buff out any discolorations in a well ventilated area.

I have a long memory foam bath mat the covers shower door to room door. Can I put this on top of it, or does it have to be on a hard surface?

The Bath Stone does need to be on a hard surface. All Bath Stones do include a non slip foam pad that is to be used between the hard floor and Bath Stone. This prevents the Bath Stone from slipping as well as evenly distributes weight when stepped on.

How do you clean this?

We recommend cleaning the Bath Stone by placing in the bath tub or shower and scrubbing with diluted hydrogen peroxide or bleach. You can also use the included sanding paper (or any 120-180 grit sand paper) to gently buff the entire surface in a well ventilated area. After cleaned, prop up to fully dry.

How does it heat up? battery?
