Eco Yoga Mat- Made of Jute- Excellent Grip, Water Resistant and Heat-Insulating (Violet)

After few disappointing yoga mat buys I was looking for something slightly different and came across this jute mat. Sceptical at first, I decided to give it a try, especially since it was on offer for just under £10 at the time, which is a reasonable amount for yoga mat. I usually choose red mats, but the colours available with jute mat are pink or violet and I went for the latter. It arrived very quickly. I tried it straight away and loved it immediately! It doesn't have this sticky rubbery feel to it but still gives a great grip (downwards dog no problem).I use it indoor and outdoor and it works on any surface really. Even working on a wet grass as the moisture doesn't leak through. The descrobtion says it is perfect for Hot Bikram Yoga, but I cannot comment on it as this is not the kind of yoga I practice.The mat is 5 mm thick which gives enough cushioning for me although I use some more padding for poses when there is more knees pressure.It's made of 20% Jute and 80% Eco PVC which gives this mat a distingtive look and feel.The measurements are 63 x185 x 0.5 cm. it fits in my yoga bag no problem and is long enough for comfortable lying meditation.I'm very happy with this purchase and use it every day - I just hope it will be durable enough to survive my excercising regime :)
