Scarpa Mens Scarpa Margarita Leather Casual Shoe Sneaker

I have purchased A LOT of travel shoes looking for something that is the perfect "does everything" shoe. This is as close as I have found. No, you can't really dress it up but its black and kind of stealthy so you can get away with business casual. Scarpa makes really high quality shoes. I've never seen such a well made "sneaker".

Scarpa makes the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn, I own 4 pairs [Mojita]. They all fit like a glove. I tried this version, [Margarita] as it it a bit more formal looking, and while it is certainly comfortable, not quite as perfect a fit as the Mojita.

Liked the shoes but were to large

Impressive craftsmanship, never received so many compliments on a pair of casual shoes. Very comfortable and durable. Never been called a hipster before

I bought these shoes because of the brand name, thinking that they would be durable like other Scarpa products that I've owned. They came with one tongue stitched in crooked so it never sat properly on my left foot, it would slide down to the outside, I could clearly see this happening as my right foot tongue sat where it is supposed to. The toe caps both wrinkled and peeled, which now allows moisture in-between the shoe and rubber toe cap that is compounding the problem. I tried to deal with Scarpa warranty but it is more of a hassle than it's worth it seems. Three and a half weeks after I emailed them with the full warranty info that they asked for (pictures included), I had heard nothing back. So, I emailed customer service, he said that I had been sent an email two weeks ago with a number to write on the box to mail back to them, at my expense, to be "looked at" to see what should be done. Now, firstly, I never received any email from them, I've had the same email address for over 20 years, I know how it works, and secondly, feel as if I made a huge mistake in buying them. They are not cheap "sneakers". Being a mountain guy, raised in the Rocky Mountains of Canada who needs durable gear, I will NOT BUY SCARPA AGAIN! Sad.
