The first one was not working it it arrived. Then they replaced it and little over 90 days this does not work.

I absolutely loved my ice maker, especially that it just keeps freezing them and I don't have to make extra space in my freezer. The only downside, is that the part that scoops the ice unto the holding bin struggles to get the ice over the lip. I'm guessing from the looks of it a piece got stuck and tried to freeze to it. Now there is a crack in it and it doesn't scoop it over the lip, it just keeps getting stuck underneath it. I'll most likely buy the same one again, just hope they get that glitch solved soon.

Worked great at first and not it doesn't work to put the ice in the bin and the ice jams it... I won't be buying another ice maker since this was my second one I've purchased

Wow something this small and compact can make ice so quickly. You do have to make sure that ice doesn't block the electronic eye or ice production will stop until the ice is moved into the basket.Actually that's my biggest concern with this ice maker. It makes ice, but isn't a freezer or a refrigerator. The ice is wet because from the moment it drops into the hopper it is melting. When the ice production stops due to a cube blocking the electronic eye, just ice melting is happening and not much else. The slope of the gate that shoves ice from the hopper to the basket could do with a bit steeper slope so that ice would slide faster and further into the basket and not just sit at the edge of the basket blocking the electronic eye and stopping production of new ice. Another thing, when water is low production of ice stops. Even after the addition of water, the ice maker will not resume ice production until the on off button is pressed momentarily. This means that during the evening hours for instance, if the water is low ice making stops and the melting ice from the basket raises the water level, but because the power button is not pressed ice melts and no new ice is made. These two problems really need to be corrected to make this machine much better for supplying ice. There's too much manual intervention required to call this an "automatic" ice maker.January 2023 UPDATE:Still amazing as long as there's water in the reservoir, it makes ice 24/7. It has a compressor and flamable refrigerant inside. It's absolutely safe when used as directed however. I am really satisfied with my purchase.Cons:1. Not a freezer so ice remelts2. Ice blocking eye stops production until eye is cleared3. Low water level stops production until manual reset, even if water is addedOther than those reasons above, this is a fantastic ice maker and fast enough to provide ice in 5 minutes so you can get fresh ice fast. Small size makes it handy.Update:May 7 2023Well it was bound to happen first it was showing a light meaning ice was full in the bin and it would stop making ice. The bin was empty so the sensor was probably at fault. Now it is showing the water reservoir is empty and it's got plenty of water in it. Ice production stops!!!!!Why don't products last several years any more?Very disappointed I really depended upon that ice supply.

It's better than described. Makes ice really fast, reasonable sized catch basket. Big parties best to stock up first. It's actually really quiet. I use purified water as suggested ( extremely hardtap water at my home ). The ice has no strange flavors at all, very clean tasting, no weird floating as it thaws in drinks. I love it more than I thought I would. Reasonably priced compared to fride icemaker repair cost or buying ice all the time.

Worked great for a short while then every so often all the water would just drain out of the bottom all over the counter. Now at it's 6 month mark just completely quit working all together.

Needed an ice maker to help supplement the in freezer one. This one works great. As long as there’s water in it, it’ll make ice.. sensors let you know if it needs more water or ice is full. occasionally an ice cube does get stuck blocking the sensor but just move it and it’s back on track,Cleaning it is easy. Has drain plug and can put that area over sink while you clean and rinse the maker.

PROS: It has the same features as an Igloo, cheaper, and worked just as well. It arrived a day early, and it did exactly what it says: created ice of two different sizes.It was very easy to use.CONS: It made your typical noise of ice machines, but nothing that couldn't easily be ignored in the background.However the biggest issue: I purchased it Oct 2022. It didn't last a year: stopped working April 2023. The lights still came on, but it no longer produced any ice.
