The dx95 hela filter does an amazing job. It catches smoke, vape from e cigarettes, bacteria, the lot.It's a shame it's a bit pricey but it will last you about a year. Just remember to take it out every couple of months and vacuum it to remove as much dust and debris as you can. To be honest if it's not in the presence of the kitchen or smokers (oils and tar in the air) then your filter (with regular vacuuming) will probably last a number of years.

Only bad thing is it’s very expensive

Works a treat at filtering dust and debris from the air, especially when paired with the carbon filters.I use these with my AeraMax 200 purifier, AKA the Fellowes DX55, and they really do need to be changed annually as is stated.Useful thing to know...Item code: Fellowes 9287101Update: Redacted -- Fellowes discontinued these filters for some time in 2016 and the prices increased, but brought them back thankfully.Update 2: My DX55 has been happily filtering air for 6+ years though a common complaint was failure of the On/Off switch.

Seems expensive but lasts 12 months so good value for money

I needed to replace my filters in my fellows air purifier , the above items were the genuine replacement and the company I purchased them from seemed the cheapest at the time , if you have an air purifier changing the filters in line with the manufacturer guidelines is important as the air purifier becomes less effective and I was amazed how much dust etc it collected , (as regards to the fellows HEPA air purifier by the way it works well but I am sure there are better alternatives as I purchased it a number of years ago ,the air purifier with HEPA filters are the best to get also I was really surprised how much dust/and other partials they collect and get rid of smells , you would need to check regarding the room size you are using it for as you may need a larger one ,they are also great for allergies or using in the bedroom although some are more noisy than others )

great filter get 1 every yr just ordered another new filter from fellows ok on site surecsays 19.99 but when box can and unwrapped say was 22 now 5 called amazon told me was just a sticker I have been a good Amazon customer for 8 yr I would have no prob or had any prob with Amazon but I do expect to pay what's on the box ....and ps I dont have a sticker gun for this purpose lol al put up the box with pic .that not all.same day bought new machinevas well and carbon filters I am not trying to pull wool over Amazon's eyes just pay for ehats on box would be good .ps if nothing on bix I would not have bothered 1 bit ok amazon dont know what on box but do now but as said told me just a sticker pmsl yes indeed with 18 pounds off women I called didn't u understand what I ment .so I said you walk into shop see good women jacket says on price 22.99 now 5 pounds .she got that ok lol.

This seems expensive, but the much cheaper carbon filters protect it from coarser dirt. The replaced one lasted several years, and one in a less used area, for a similar period, is still fine.Having less lung/nose congestion and being able to quickly clean stinks out of the air makes these air cleaning machines worth having.

Llevo años con estos filtros (renovándolos por uso) , y van fenomenales. El AeraMax DX-95, va perfecto. Muy recomendable, si quieres filtrar el aire de tu despacho (en mi caso).

Il prodotto è originale per il modello specifica ed è ottimo. Un po il prezzo troppo ballerino. Anche se originale, viene spinto troppo alto e si può trovare a prezzo più basso. Fitra insieme alla parte ai carboni attivi in maniera ottimale. E' dato per la durata di un anno circa, ma se l'ambiente è polveroso forse sarebbe meglio cambiarlo prima. Fa il suo dovuto lavoro.

For the record, this fits the size 21 Winix 6300 Air Purifier. Logically, this will fit most if not all Winix models utilizing size 21 HEPA filters. Someone answered this fitment question stating that it doesnt fit the Winix 5500 model, which can take the same filters as the 6300. That answer isnt correct because i used to own a 5500 and the filter chamber has the same dimensions as the 6300. I purchased and tried this to avoid having to spend nearly $70 for a Winix package of HEPA Filter + 4 Carbon Prefilters when I only needed the HEPA Filter and as a way to enhance the cleanliness of air since this Aeramax Filter is treated with an antimicrobial agent to inhibit bacterial and mold growth on the filter and the filtered air. The OEM Winix HEPA Filter doesnt have this feature. Winix doesnt sell the HEPA as a standalone and I dont trust the aftermarket filter manufacturer. It's a universally known fact that the Fellowes 300HF HEPA Filter fits any size 21 Winix purifier AND you can buy it as a standalone for roughly $28. Fellowes makes Aeramax air purifiers so i checked out the filter dimensions on a whim to see if it is similar. The dimensions for the Fellowes HEPA is 1.2x12.7x16.4. This Aeramax Filter is 1.2x12.6x16.3 so I figured $4 more (at time of purchase) for an antimicrobial agent treatment and only 0.1" size difference is a good tradeoff. Besides, I tape the narrow space between the filter and the purifier casing to maximize filtered air anyway. Another bonus is that this filter is eligible for Same Day delivery here in Southern Cali vs. 2 Days for the Fellowes HEPA filter for Prime members. I got it that same day for free delivery since it was over $35 and was pleased to see that it is sealed in thick plastic wrapping. The whole point of a HEPA filter is to clean the air so it shouldnt be contaminated and I'm glad that Aeramax/Fellowes understands this. In fact the plastic is thicker than the one that the original Winix HEPA Filter came in. I then proceeded to remove the old Winix HEPA filter and then began putting the Aeramax in. There is not a tab on the side of the filter for removal in the future but is negligible.Despite the 0.1" size difference on paper, it fit perfectly! And in terms of air quality, it's as good as it is with a Winix filter. I also want to mention that sealing the edge (the edge of the filter and the air purifier unit filter casing) with a clear quality tape like Gorilla Tape improves the performance to ensure that all air going in passes though the filters. I also experimented by putting all 4 carbon prefilters in at once with great results; it definitely increases filtration of the air and makes the HEPA filter last longer. The great thing about these boxy Winix purifiers is all the extra space in the filter compartment (due to the higher priced cassette cartridge setup option). I live with someone who has a fairly dirty apartment with 2 dogs and needed to maximize purification in my room. I currently have 2 HEPA filters (yes, TWO!) stacked in the filter chamber along with 1 carbon filter, all sealed around the edges with tape. The air flow going through the filters is more restrictive but the recommended square footage of the purifier is more than the size of my room so enough air flow exists with the added HEPA filter to adequately filter the air in my room. The fit is almost perfect; it is just ever slightly oversized IN thickness but the cover fit back on with no problems. And I enjoy clean air with better sleep. Long story short, this fits the Winix 6300, which is the same size (21) as the 5300, 5500, etc. Just check the description for the Winix package for the complete list of compatible model numbers.
