Imagine Clean Dishes and Saving Space under the Sink
Stop using products that come in big containers that are most likely bad for the environment. Honestly just the space you save between under your sink and then recycling (were in Ohio and recycling is spotty) would be worth it however your dishes get clean and its better on your dishwasher. My only call out is that if you're like me and have arthritis the tabs do not split easily.

Did not clean well
The packaging was nearly impossible to get into. That was a BIG negative for me before I even used the product. The sticks had to be broken apart manually, and sometimes they did not separate easily or neatly. Then once we used it for awhile, I started noticing black deposits on my 'clean' dishes. That had never happened with any dishwasher product we had used previously. I'm committed to not using plastic-wrapped pods, but I will continue searching for a ecologically responsible product that actually works well.

They work, but they are a pain
Like the majority of reviews, they crumble easily which makes a mess. They don’t break off well and they clean ok but not nearly as well as your typical pods. They’re fine in a pinch but not good enough to replace.

Little soapy feeling, but they do the job!
Overall, I like these tablets. There is no plastic on these at all, and they came in a cardboard box. The tablets themselves are all connected, you have to break them apart to use them. This can be a little tricky, but there are score lines on them. They leave my hands a little soapy feeling (like, if you tried to break apart a bar of soap). Would not recommend messing with these with wet hands. (Minus 1 star) These do a good job of getting my dishes clean. I use just one tab in the wash compartment and nothing in the prewash compartment for a normal cycle. Dishes come out as clean as they did when I used a name brand powder dishwasher soap. I would recommend these if you are trying to avoid plastic. They take up less space than the big box of powder and don't leave residue in the soap compartment of the dishwasher like I have noticed with pods. Just make sure you have somewhere dry to store them and you are good to go!

Eco-Friendly Not what I had hoped for.
These are Eco-friendly, fragrance-free Dishwasher detergent tablets. They have a built in rinse-aid. In trying to be more Eco-friendly, I tried these as well as the laundry sheets. This review is for the dishwasher tablets only. I found that the tablets DO work for cleaning your dirty dishes...the night I first used these, I had 2 small bowls that are colored plastic--light pink and I had stores some leftover tamales in them....complete with red Mexican sauce. These had been stored in the fridge for several days so the coloring from the tamales was 'stuck' on the bottom of the bowl. Then, of course, I reheated them in the microwave...so when I took them out and we ate the tamales, the bottom of the bowl was really stained. I should have taken a picture of the bowls but at the time, I wasn't intending to use these tablets to wash them so I didn't think about it when I loaded the dishwasher. I did think about it the next morning just before I opened the dishwasher---'I should have taken a picture of these bowls before I ran the dishwasher'.....I opened the door, and took out both bowls and they were clean enough that if you didn't know....you would never have known there had been tamales and juice in them the day before. So.....the product does do what it says---all of the dishes (including the standup cheese shredder that I used) were all immaculately clean. What I didn't like--the tablets......if they had been already broke apart, they would be fine.....but these come as a long strip of tablets and you have to break them a part to use one in a load. If you try to break them by hand, they come apart in pieces because the indention where they snap apart is not very deep, so it doesn't break cleanly. In comes the table knife to help break them apart. They snap in pieces still.......boyfriend enters the picture with his amazing idea.......get out the hammer and hit the end of the knife and break them apart.... works very well and it did break them in to fairly clean pieces. You can tell who did what by looking at the pictures lol. It's just the 2 of us so the 30 tablets will probably last us 2-3 months. I usually wash dishes by hand but if we're busy or have a big dinner, I don't use the dishwasher daily. Not sure yet if I'll repurchase.

Leaves no steaks and glasses do not get smoky looking.
Love this product. First of all, it's a green product. Secondly, no big plastic boxes to get rid of and taking up space under my sink. Thirdly, it works beautifully. What's not to like?

Works fine
It is difficult to break into an even chunk, but it doesn't need to be pretty. Gets my dishes clean and I like the small no plastic packaging. I'll buy it again and experiment with breaking off pieces. I did see a video of a guy using nutcracker. It worked ok, I'll need a little practice. It dissolved completely, no gunk in my soap cup.

Yuck and yuck
1. This product does not clean dishes. In addition it leaves a white coating on the inside the dishwasher. I had to wash my dishes multiple times. 2. It came as one large, solid chunk, with deviations to break off pieces. However, the packaging was so hard to get off that I tore the entire package off before I could get to the slab. Once I finally got it out, the white chalky lump was messy and dusty and left my hands and surface covered. 3. I read other reviews before buying this as I was trying to find a detergent that didn’t have plastic, and was so hopeful it would replace my cascade packets, but nope never using again.

Cleans my dishes well even on light cycle. Love that this is eco friendly, packaging has no plastic and made in Canada. My only pet peeve is the difficulty separating the tabs. The don’t just break off. I have to separate them with a small paring knife.

I was looking for pods that would clean better and leave no residue and I bought these after some research, but not only they leave a white residue all over the dishes, they don't even clean! I had to run the dishwasher twice and still had to wash them by hand after.

At beginning I loved how much space and materials they save. Very ecological. But then when using it the quality is not there. I need to use two pieces to fully clean my dishes and when braking apart the tabs they don't break easy and they become irregular. I'll switch back to my previous brand Util they fix the dose and the braking apart.

I really like Truearth products, but not these. They are molded together in the box so you have to break them apart, which sometimes breaks the tabs themselves. Makes it hard to get them out of the box. In terms of performance, they work ok but not great. Sometimes there's a filmy residue on the dishes after the cycle.
