My daughter loved this movie

Just finished watching this movie bought on Amazon Video with my daughter and we both enjoyed it very much! She mentioned how funny it was and I appreciate the great mix of light hearted humor mixed with an inspiring story line. While some may think of the plot as not to original, there's a reason why this type of story is attempted often because it is encouraging and touches the heart when done in a heart felt way. This movie has tons of heart and truly has you rooting for and caring about the characters, how can you get better than that?I also appreciate that it shows real consequences of immature choices, the value of a sincere apology and repentance. Also, how to overcome adversity, bullying and outright evil! I think this movie would be a great choice for kids in general, but especially kids that loves to dance or just need encouragement to work through obstacles with whatever dream they are working towards. I think parents will really appreciate this as a movie that inspires and entertains while still teaching great character, because a movie that does all these things are few and far between these days. Overcoming opposition and obstacles to your dreams, and doing it the right way, are messages I think we can all appreciate and apply to our lives! And besides, where else are you going to find a ballet movie that has you as pumped, as you would be after watching Rocky or the Karate Kid :)?! Enjoy the movie and Merry Christmas!

If at 1st you don’t succeed ! Keep chasing your dreams.

I had never seen, or even heard about, this movie. I happened upon it because my almost 3 year-old granddaughter is currently interested in ballet. She often quickly loses interest in longer movies - including some Disney classics - this movie held her interest throughout, even with the ads! She immediately wanted to watch it again. I'm grateful because it didn't include any brain worm songs to dominate our lives (hello "Let it Go) and I was entertained as well. There is a mild villian but no scenes that would scare a young child. Animation was great, characters were great. Just awesome all the way around.

We have LOVED Leap! It was an easy purchase for us to make, as we will watch it many times. We have a 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 year old and all of them were into it. It is very appropriate for all of these ages and tells a great story of work ethic and persistence, which I really appreciate!

Case came in broken, but the DVD was still OK.

My sweet 3 year old adores this movie. The values that this movie teaches her makes it one that I put on repeat.This sweet girl has to work so so hard while she doesn’t have all of the help that her competition has. But she has something no one else can compare with- her heart. This is such a valuable lesson for girls today… even if you don’t have the bells, whistles, and shiny things, if you work hard and put your HEART into it, you can achieve your biggest dreams.

I hated the revamped movie and I’m glad this is the original one, but if you want one like the tv one this isn’t it, tbh this is the better version lol good job Amazon
