Vacuumsaver air&liquid tight food storage containers, set of 10 + pump

These are great. I put my hand up and admit I'm a numpty. Well worth buying.

The 2 large one is deforming easily, and take same times to get back the original shape. But for me all working well.

For me, these containers 'work' just as well, if not better, than the similar 'vacu-vin' type of containers I already own.Unlike some other reviewers (which made me think twice before buying, luckily I took the plunge anyway !) I have had no trouble at all creating a long-lasting vacuum within each container.I think the 'trick' might be to not only pump for 'longer' (about 20 repetitions is a good guide), but also use the visual guidance of the lid 'dishing' slightly into the container void to show a realistic vacuum is present.....As the plastic is also quite flexible (again unlike the hard plastic of the 'vacu-vin' type), that latter action isn't a cause for alarm since when the vacuum stopper is used to equalize pressure the lid returns to it's normal shape without any fuss.The other advantages they have is that they are much better suited for storage in the fridge and, more significantly, can be used in the microwave for reheating their contents - they are also dishwasher-safe.The plastic they are made of is remarkably heavyweight/thick, giving the impression of durability. As they are more 'utilitarian' than the 'vacu-vin' type they are not perhaps as well suited to 'presentation' storage (eg biscuits), the bright green seals and vacuum 'stopper' help with that factor as well !The range of container sizes in this set is quite good, with 2 offering a very useful large capacity (eg a loaf of bread, whole chicken) but I would have preferred a few more of the 'cube' shape instead of the majority being the squat/rectangular variety.As there's also only 1xvacuum pump supplied (a bit stingy IMHO), this means I've now bought a smaller set of the same make to fill both those deficiencies : Vacuumsaver Flavia 3 piece food container set - with vacuum pump As I bought this set with the recent Amazon 4for3 Home/Garden sale the cost of it has been lowered somewhat - this was the reason I bought it at the time, as the premium of the vacuum capability I don't think completely justifies the normal selling price vs shop-bought containers. However, there's not too much out there that offers the vacuum capability so the choice is limited !

A little fragile- the vacum seal doesnt work well on some of the boxes - and certainly not well on the larger boxes

It just arrived so i never used food there however the quality is brilliant.. Is more expensive than other but it really worth the money

perfect storage for food . vegetables last longer, cheese , marinated meat, great , I have only positive thing to say

Have received a set of 9 pieces and although they are well made and solid,10 minutes after extracting the air,they are full again!Will return immediately.Shame...

I contenitori sono di plastica trasparente, questa caratteristica mi piace perchè consente di vedere il contenuto. Il top assoluto sarebbe avere contenitori in vetro, ma in commercio non ne ho mai visti. La pompa è semplicissima da usare ed efficace. Le valvole hanno una tenuta perfetta e il vuoto si mantiene bene. Unica nota negativa, un contenitore (su dieci) è arrivato con la linguetta del coperchio rotta, e quindi non potrò utilizzarlo per il sottovuoto. Si tratta senz'altro di un errore nel caricamento o nella spedizione. Nel complesso il prodotto sembra piuttosto resistente. Per cui sono soddisfatto.

Es el mejor conjunto de fiambreras que he comprado. Son resistentes y hacen bien el vacío. Son muy económicas ya que hay muchas y de todos los tamaños. Busqué para comprar otro pero ya no había en aquel momento. Si lo encuentras, te lo recomiendo.

Tja, was kann ich zu den Vakuumbehältern sagen außer: Finger weg!Ich hatte mir vor etwa einem halben Jahr dummerweise erst das kleine und kurz darauf auch das große Set bestellt, weil ich anfangs begeistert gewesen war. In den ersten Wochen hat das Vakuum auf den verschiedenen Dosen noch prima gehalten. Zwei bis drei Züge mit der mitgelieferten Pumpe und schon saß das Vakuum bombenfest - und das sogar problemlos über mehrere Tage.Nach kaum acht Wochen kam dann aber die Ernüchterung. Bis auf drei Dosen hält heute keine einzige mehr das Vakuum. Das liegt vermutlich an dem verwendeten (und recht billig anmutenden) Kunststoff. Egal wie vorsichtig man mit der Pumpe umgeht, immer wölbt sich dabei der Deckel nach unten durch. Das wäre an sich nicht weiter problematisch. Allerdings bleibt diese Wölbung auch nach Ablassen des Vakuums im Deckel bestehen. Mit der Zeit lässt sich dann kein Vakuum mehr erzeugen. Bei einigen der größeren Dosen kann man den Deckel sogar überhaupt nicht mehr auf der Dosen befestigen, selbst wenn noch gar kein Vakuum drauf ist. Damit klappt also auch ein Umfunktionieren zur normalen Vorratsdose nicht.Bei den kleineren Dosen sehen die Deckel dagegen nur minimal verbogen aus. Trotzdem entweicht dort das Vakuum teilweise schon nach wenigen Minuten. Ob das nun am Deckel, am Dichtungsring oder an der Dose selbst liegt, konnte ich nicht feststellen. Eines ist für mich aber klar: das war hinausgeworfenes Geld, heute kommen bis auf drei Dosen alle auf den Müll. Schade.Ach ja, eine Sache ist mir noch aufgefallen: die vereinzelt negativen Rezensionen, die ich hier damals vor dem Kauf gelesen habe (vor allem die Problematik mit den gewölbten Deckeln), sind allesamt verschwunden. Ein Schelm, wer Böses dabei denkt.

J'ai hésité en lisant les commentaires précédents... Et au vu du prix j'ai décidé de tenter.Aucun soucis, pour ma part.Toutes les boites ont été livrées en bon état, elles fonctionnent toutes... Et j'ai été assez ravie de leur qualité, pour le prix, elles maintiennent le vide plusieurs jours (j'ai été jusque 4 jours sans y toucher, le vide était encore présent).Peut-être ai-je eu de la chance, mais pour moi l'investissement en a valut la peine!La petite surprise agréable est d'avoir lu "sans BPA" sur la notice.

Contenitori robusti. Tengono bene il vuoto aumentando la durata dei cibi. Pompando l'aria il coperchio si flette verso l'interno dei contenitori in questo modo possono toccare il cibo e non tenere il vuoto.Riposti occupano poco spazio perché sono perfettamente inpilabili.Li consiglio, anche come regalo.Dopo un anno e mezzo di utilizzo intenso sono ancora perfetti.
