- FLEXIBLE FERMENTATION – SafLager W-34/70 Yeast is a particularly flexible and forgiving yeast strain as it can tolerate warmer fermentations (up to 72 °F) without producing noticeable off-flavors. However, this strain does perform best in a fermentation temperature range of 54 - 70°F.
- HOME BREW INGREDIENTS – This lager yeast is different from ale yeasts because lager yeasts thrive in cooler fermentation temperatures. Our active dry yeast does not require hydration or a yeast starter to begin fermentation.
