Seladan Clay Ovenproof Dishes Set of 6, for Tapas, Gratin, Güvec, Greixonera, Cazuela

I had some hesitation in buying these after seeing the reviews that some had come broken due to being poorly wrapped, or not wrapped at all. I received these next day on prime and they came wrapped in layers of large thick bubble wrap. They came in a thick solid cardboard box (nicely presented). They are varnished on the inside, not on the outside but to be honest, if I go to a restaurant for tapas, they are usually the same, so I don't understand why that would score these down??!! I've since recommended to my mother, who got her delivered yesterday... and was made up too. Packaged the same as mine. 10 stars for quality, delivery and price.

I am British but have lived in Mainland Europe for over 20+ years, 3 years in Madrid. Now back home in the UK, I cook Tapas all the time and have a large collection of terracotta Tapas bowls, dishes, plates and pans. Everyone expects Tapas to be served in informal, 'rustic' terracotta cookware, but these bowls are a little TOO cheap, lightweight and rough & ready. Packaging is idiotic, 4x bowls chipped on delivery and 1x bowl broken. Look elsewhere. Certainly not worth the money, pay a few pounds more and go for better quality ones.

When I ordered the set of glazed dishes that can be used in the oven or for the table I thought I would have a better finish, looks nothing like the advert very poor finish I would only use 3 out of the set of 6 no good to me

Great Tapas dishes...I already had 10 x 14cm dish but couldn't find any more that would ship to Portugal but found these 12cm dishes... they are perfect as hold same capacity as 14cm ones, as they are deeper. Only negative is they are not fully glazed only on inside, but other than that they are safe for freezer, oven and dishwasher. They were quiet expensive but what can you do when others won't ship to your home country. Thank you Seladan. I would recommend this supplier and these dishes.

Seems to be a common occurrence that they arrive chipped or Brocken , really with to protective packaging between bowls it’s no surprise they break in transit.Not the best quality only able to use 3 of the 6 purchasedI’d look elsewhere if I were you

Lovely set of dishes. Easy to clean. Did find some the same at home sense which were a little cheaper.

Poorly glazed on the inside with lots of cracks, lumps and bumps on the outside, these don't feel like they're going to last very long, one arrived broken despite all the bubble wrap so I'm not holding out much hope!

Fab, fast delivery, really highly recommend
