Helmm Standing Desk Converter - S-Desk '22' - Adjustable Height Wooden Stand Up Desk

I bought this standing desk so I would be able to work effectively either standing or sitting at my desk.The measurements put me off at first as it looked like it was going to dominate my desk.- once assembled (less than 2 minutes) I was instantly hooked. I put my laptop on the top shelf and the keyboard, track pad and mouse on the main shelf. I’ve added all the accessories (adaptors, cables, etc) around the back and sides of the top shelf and it feels like I’ve been working like this for years (its only been four days!).The ergonomic diagram just works - I am not a touch typist but am doing better at keyboard skills than I ever did sitting down. As I have to dial in to long calls I do want to sit down sometimes, this is a breeze. All I have to do is disconnect the cables (I decided to semi fix them to the frame) put the laptop on the main shelf and the keyboard, etc on the actual desk and everyhthing is at the right height. I can put the keyboard at the back of the main shelf when I want to write ((I tend to use A4 pads so need the space) but I absolutely love working this way and wish I’d done it sooner!The design is first rate, the build quality is excellent and the customer service is first class. I had a couple of (very) small problems and Sam (from Helmm) was pragamatic and instantly reactive. So much so that I’ve only had it four days and am a very happy and satisfied customer. I’d buy it again but I think it’s going to outlive me!
